to be honest it probably looks like the vote will again be so close as to be redundant...

We used to alternate between road car and race car each season. Road cars haven't had a run since the Lexus gave them a bad name.

The lexus was quite a good car. Its not so much the car, as the game. The constant problems with connections and the physics can't compete with the alternatives.

I've been close to stopping with gt6 for a few seasons now, but hung around for Subaru for the racing.. The last 2 seasons cars choices made me come back again, as Im a big fan of both LMP1 and GT3 cars. But the drive to practice is gone.

So it really does depend on the car for me. Something that spikes my interest enough to put up with the constant problems GT6 keeps dishing out.

Just did some testing with some of the guys and tried a few cars.
    Really like the:
    Renault Sport Megane R.S.
    Ferrari 365 GTB4
    Volkswagen Scirocco GT24

you can throw all of them through the corners and have great battles

also the vote currently stands at:
    race: 7
    road: 11
(*based on signups in entry thread)

I mixed up road/race in my previous calculation lol

Don't mind the Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 for a race car, but definitely need to have a 24 hour time cycle on the Nurburgring 24H with it.

Have test driven the following cars and here is my quick review:
    Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 - 404bhp - 1043kg
    • Turns in well, feels planted until it snap oversteers on power.
    • Requires quick reactions to regain control and composure.
    VW Scirocco GT24 - 336bhp - 1120kg
    • Turns in more than expected with loose rear end.
    • Noticeable understeer under full power and in long sweeping curves.
    Ferrari 365 GT '71 - 363bhp - 1200kg
    • Front end feels heavy with slight understeer in most corners.
    • Feels fast on the straights and mostly stable handling.
    Ferrari Dino 246 GT '71 - 201bhp - 1080kg
    • Very nimble handling car and feels surprisingly quick.
    • Balance dances between neutral and easy power slide depending on throttle application.
    Ford GT '05 - 577bhp - 1451kg
    • Car feels heavy in braking zones and through corners.
    • Generally understeers on turn in and very easy to light up rear tyres from mid RPM and up.
Have also tested some other classic Ferraris like the GTO and 512 BB, but none of them are as fun and user friendly when compared to the Dino.

Ferrari Dino on SH/CS please! Turn tyre wear up so lap time difference is significant enough for 'strategising'...thanks :D:D:D
