As we always do, lets discuss what might work for a season 3 car.....

Put forward your thoughts here, please be respectful of peoples opinions on what might work ;)

I know most people love a race car, but dont forget the Caterham we tried before season 2 was an absolute cracker of a road car as well as the the BMW M3 TC (race car)

Wasn’t the Caterham looser than a drift car? Or am I thinking of something else???

Something that will change everyones driving style (I don't mean that in a bad way) we are all good at rwd and awd cars that are stable or race ready. Maybe something fwd if there is many to choose from as I haven't tested any other cars other than the last 2 seasons cars

Agree. Seems like this game is limited in a lot of peoples minds to GT and TC. There's stacks of good cars there to be driven if ya take some time away from testing and get on for some fun once and a while! Also improves your driving IMO immensely as being able to jump from one car to another and be immediately on pace is important.

If it was up to me, I would pick an old car, say prior to 1980, with manual transmission. A car that you cannot flat change with, and a car that you also need the clutch when downshifting. Also, forced internal view.

Bugger me , that would be good , but force interior views going a bit far . The only problem with the clutch thing is not everyone has a clutch pedal, but I'd be fine with that , I clutch it all the time . Old cars are good.

If we went with this approach, there are always options of using automatic clutch, paddle shift, automatic transmission etc.
I personally prefer the cars where you can miss gears, if you don't depress the clutch correctly, and generally compression lock up if you do not heal and toe, on the downshifts. Internal view, just makes it feel more immersive.

its a struggle getting a balance between being immersive and not making it too hard for the guys who have minimal time....
