Well I'll put it like this, I put about 25 hours or so into that brief beta and for the first time in about 5 years I could safely play a codies F1 game without TCS. Not just that the differences between none and medium TC were minimal, except medium allows for some slip, you can't just gas it out of a first gear hairpin without a hint of oversteer like in 16. Lets be honest here the medium TC in 16 is ridiculously unforgiving and takes away a lot of the challenge. But with it off it is a nightmare.
In the new game they've actually calculated tyre grip properly so you can floor it out of some
corners and the car wont snap for seemingly no reason even with no TC. It is superb and an absolute joy to drive.
I had planned to do a big write up but apparently Codies were cracking down on NDA breaches and I didn't really want to take the risk. The game comes out in 9 days so it should be fine now.
It will require testing once the game comes out, heads will scrach but the #1 proirity is making sure everyone can participate and enjoy themselves.
