M1 procar with default loose setup works well. Stable setup is not so good. 320TC don’t think it’s been on a default setup.... will have to try.
Well, since that's the list. Time to list the pros for the Merc C9. Best engine in the game: In terms of power, responsiveness and that sound! It's like a V8 supercar with an extra 200HP. Default setup feels good: I've only ran it on loose as that seems to be well balanced High tyre wear for strategy: From the runs I have done, the soft tyres seem to deplete pretty fast, haven't tried it on a harder compound but given we would all start on the softs, I can see it making pit strategy a factor regardless of if the fuel bug has been resolved or not
My preference for next season 1. Mercedes-Benz C9 2. Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM 3. BMW M1 Procar 4. BMW 320 TC Also from the racers I've been doing lately it looks like the fuel bug might be fixed fingers crossed
I did just try the renault megane v6 trophy and it is like the bmw tc but much more faster and fairly drivable you can use both styles of driving with great effect. Holds a mean slide just like the bmw tc. May appeal to more 'i wanna go faster' people. Lol can we give this a try with a couple of tracks?
Am planning on doing some testing in the cars suggested over the next few night for those interested...10 min qual with 4 lap races swapping between cars on the same tracks before changing to another track and cars combo....Will flick out invites to people as i see them on and hopefully get some feedback.... Did very few laps last night in the Sauber and was pretty good once the tyres got hot....Seems a bit understeery in the slower corners, but sounded unreal ! oh, for all the fast guys, if this car gets up i will make you all turn the Auto clutch off....Trying to rev match in this thing is a nightmare ! might bring you back to the field . The tyre wear on it seemed like it could make things interesting when bumped up to 'accelerated' so had some good things about it... will have to test it on colder tracks, in the wet and also over the bumps....same as the other cars suggested. Remember we are looking (as always) to pick a car that all levels of drivers can enjoy and 'race' in for 7 rounds.
