Pit errors may have been on last night. I'll the settings tonight as I didn't jump in to another room , so it should have copied the room settings.
So I've had a chance to jump on for a couple of solid sessions finally and tried the BMW and Merc - happy with either. SO bring on the Merc!!! Is there anything I need to do in order to get identified what division I would fall into? Ie. Test laps etc? Also, can I watch your guys race from last night anywhere?
If you can jump in a few of our prac room it gives us a really good indication of actual race pace, and then makes it easy to get you in the right div. I hope to get on tonight, for some more testing of pits etc....whats the best day / time for you ?
Just remember to do 1 or 2 slower warm-up laps when you come out of the pits for a practice or qually session. Once the tyres warm up you can start being more aggressive on the throttle.
Sundays will generally always be non-tuning (The first season or two of pCars1 wasn't, due to non-ROOZ admins running it).
I thought it was originally tuning because fixed setup wasn't enforceable for one reason or another...
Season one, two and three of pcars 1 was tuning because the game didn't work properly in force default setup rooms and it took a lot of time testing and some updates to make the game work the way we use it and I think we need to either spend some time testing to crack the code to make the game work in default set ups or turn tuning back on and use the game as it was intended so it work properly
The biggest problem with the tune room is time. I struggle to find the time to tune the car for the one race a month so to do it for every week it would be impossible... for me anyway. It would be good to bring fuel and tyres into it so people have to think a little that would be great.
Random pit stop issues Tyre's not being changed for some, People starting with different amounts of fuel so some people would need more fuel in there pit stops if they get fuel put in at all
