Hey @CDT sorry for the side by side tap at monza last night. Was trialling controller for Season 4 and your little tap put my right side wheels on the grass which pulls you off track. In my effort to try and get on track, once the wheels hit the tarmac the car moves left before I can get it going straight again, which is why I tapped you. I didn't want it to seem like a revenge thing.
My replacement cable arrive today for my wheel.... guess what Im doing later tonight! Haven't diven either one of these, but I think muscle car battles will be a whole lot more fun
@Cyber_STIG_77 even tho the voting is pretty much done, there is still 14 drivers that are signed up to the S4 that haven't voted! (a little disappointing) However in saying this even if those 14 drivers voted for the 458 it will only net it 33 votes to the Camaro's 34... Unless more drivers join?
voting isn't compulsory so its not an issue imo, maybe the people who didn't vote couldn't decide which to choose so were happy to go with whatever won the poll.
I couldn't make up my mind between them, I would have been happy with either so let the others that preferred one over the other have the choice.
Know your car! My apologies if it's been posted and seen by everyone before... I just think it's important right now before the first race to really enjoy the essence of the car itself. If you don't particularly like the car at the moment or how it handles, then I especially urge you to watch and try and get some passion back into your driving.
I've gotten a handle on it I reckon. I sorta understand that it's crap everywhere so I've adjusted to drive at 90-95% and just try be consistent. I'm definitely not the fastest but I've seen some of the fastest throw it away where slow(ish) and steady(ish) is getting some decent(ish) results.
I dont really, like it when it's a bit of a beast underneath that needs to be tamed, that's probably why I disliked the Mazda from last season. The difference between driving these two type of cars, sort of Makes me think of the old F1 era vs the new. Seems anyone can drive a modern F1 car, less of a challenge.
This coming round is the toughest so far in practice.... especially the approach to the esses...if it doesn't step out on skyline under brakes...it does through the first right hander.... finding it very hard to get through there with any pace at all...for D5 anyway. rest of the track is ok
