There have been about 13 possible nominated cars so far. the most discussion seems to be around the Peugeot 908, GTR Nismo GT3, two of the Ferraris and the HSV Honda.

The next voting session will pit 2 race cars above 550PP against 2 below 550PP. the top two from that will go head to head for a decision. (assuming of course that race cars still hold the lead at the end of this vote)

I do like the idea of a gt3 gtr to celebrate Mint. Any GT3 / GT500 car would be fun though.

The Pug might be a little too much of a handful for low divisions, although it would probably be decent too.

What about the Toyota FT-1? Can go for either the street or race one.

Impossible to use for teams championship as it can't be painted or numbered.

The 908 really isn't hard to drive at all, on softs you can smash the loud pedal early on and come out of low-mid speed corners unscathed.

You figure out how to drive a hire kart before making statements of a real car

    Haha what's so handful about 1,000kg of downforce,Or big tyres ? :p
If that doesn't impress anyone God knows what will, how can we say no to 700hp! I think that would be the most powerful Sunday league car Rooz has had :eek:

Vehicle Tuning Prohibited room regulations allow for Brake Bias and Power limiter to be changed without voiding car entry.
If 700hp is too much in the 908, a room hp limit could be set in place and drivers limit their hp to 650, 600, 550 or whatever the rule makers decide in order to achieve racing fit for all divisions.
My 2 cents on Mint tribute - the GT-R GT3 in Gran Turismo 6 is absolutely horrible to drive. The car has abysmal handling stock, and even after hours and hours of tuning it STILL understeers a frustrating amount.

Oh I personally wouldn't mind the 908. Rs tyres destroy the cars handling though, and I'm not a fan.

I looked up that Nissany bloke's results... they were not pretty.
    Fastest in FP1 - Wurz, McLaren 1:21.411
Best Minardi - Robert Doornbos 1:27.011
    Last - Chanoch Nissany - 1:34.319
12.908 seconds off the lead, and 7.308 off his team-mate.

Anyway back on topic - It is easy to say no to that engine because 1200Nm of torque is significantly more force to the road than most tyres can handle! (Without Peugeot's traction control system anyway)

1200NM is at the flywheel, after it goes through the trans, it would be more than 3x that much. But it's not that hard to drive, just don't mash the throttle mid corner in 2nd gear.
