lol just realised @COME_AND_GET_ME7 having a laugh voting for each car which doesn't affect the vote at all
it was a 2 vote split and the total number of votes was less than 2 full divisions... You are right that it was redundant. Won't run it in future for GT6
forget what I said, I was looking in the wrong thread. 14 / 14. The way you worded it, seemed as though you just put both selections of cars because it was "close"
Suzuki looks like an entertaining thing to drive. Considering entering my first ROOZ season soon. Need to sharpen my ass dragger driving skills though. Understeer4dayz
how bout a wet race? snails love the rain... and with sports tires, tire choice won't matter so you can concentrate on adapting to the weather instead of pitting
would be more interesting to drive if every race was wet. thats a great idea. why would you put sports tires on a race car?
What he said…and, I only get faster after 3 beers, increasing in skill/daring exponentially till I'm up to 8 or 9…then my focus can wander a bit… Also, I know non racing tyres are considered a form of heresy here in ROOZ land, but I can't stress enough how close lower pp/lower grip racing really is! I've banged on about the LCC Rocket, but Lotus Elise 111R and the Senna WSR on CS (SH if you really have to…) are all 'magic' cars to drive and can produce the best 3 and 4 wide racing on most circuits…but I'm predicting a race car with aero/sticky tyres to keep most drivers from complaining about 'no grip' or 'can't turn it in'…may I be so bold as to suggest 'brake earlier' to all those unable to turn the Rocket in? Lol!
think of it more of of a grip scale rather than a real life couterpart. Essentialy the grip of the tyres in GT is determined by a percentage. I'm with Adro, I think a lot of the times the choice is what's most 'fun' to drive rather than to get the best racing. How I would love to do a CS or CM series one day.
Perhaps the tyre choice needs to be mentioned in the voting process. the cuppa on SS or RH is pretty basic driving and somewhat boring, especially the noise it makes. If it was on CS it would be a whole different ballgame, as would all the cars.
I get what ya mean by this, I think, about all being based on %'s. Sometimes my replays have a quirky/glichy tyre wear, number thing going on. Say my tyre's are on 9, as I turn in hard, and they go yellow, the number will flicker to 8, when they turn orange, they flicker to 7 , if they go to red, it will flicker to 6, and as you straiten up it will then flicker back through to 9. Not exactly accurate, or exactly what your talking about, but it has given me a better idea on gt's tyre 'physics' and tyre grip levels I think. Or maybe I'm just waffling on with crap after a few too many
I really hope we bring back wet weather racing next season. I missed it last season (but understandable, considering the performance characteristics of the 908).
