Season 9 suggestions

For Season 9 maybe we collate ideas and make a poll?

Post up as many ideas as possible please!! In saying that if you want to put forward a mod track, can you also post the no. of pitboxes (not grid spots) it has and please make sure you've tested it first. I won't be around tonight lads, I've had to bring some paperwork home with me tonight, gotta get a head-start on a few things before the school holidays hit.

My preference would be to race a single car throughout the whole season this time. It's nice to learn the intricacies of a car and develop setups over time. I'm also leaning towards a race car over a road car e.g. the Merc AMG GT3. Might suggest more cars after more testing.

In other news - I'm joining the 'VR club' at the end of the month when my Oculus Rift arrives. I was going to hold off for a while but a new project involving VR prompted me to jump in now. Can't wait to try it out . BTW I ordered mine through Amazon and it cost about AU$860 delivered - but does take 2 to 3 weeks. Also had to upgrade my vid card.

a month break is also ages... need more racing

I had a GTX 680 and upgrade to a GTX 1070. It was a good deal as I nabbed it while selected eBay stores had a 20% off coupon. It's an MSI with twin fans and cost me $560.

I currently run triple screens which pushes more pixels than the Oculus will. With the old 680 I had to run AC and other games at no more than medium levels to keep a reasonable FPS and even then it barely stayed at 50FPS. The oculus needs a constant 90. With the 1070 My FPS has almost doubled so with some tweaking I should be able to keep 90FPS for the Oculus . My CPU is actually below VR spec but I'm going to try anyway as all the benchmarks I've seen rate it faster than the min spec CPU.

Maybe put a poll up for 1 car, 2 car or more than 2 cars @KoAStR ?? Start with that then work our way into cars. BTW that Prago thing in the latest pack is a sticky thang!!

I think it's clear most are keen for a single car... if no objections we'll skip that poll, and depending on the car that gets voted for do one after for whether we progress for e.g. from a standard to tuned version.

Could start a poll for multi class though if it has some support. I.e. each div in a different car. Makes sense if we are all in one server again how likely is that?

I think AE86 has been suggested. Is there any other cars from the multi car seasons anyone is keen for a full season in or are most looking for something we haven't tried at all yet?

Sounds good to me. Happy with the single, single car tbh, but put it to the vote for sure.
