I'll be there but i'll be late
Yeah man i will b there
Of course. It will be good to get a tune up in, racing the AI just isn't the same as other humans.
A little something to get you pumped for the new season, this wonderful BBC intro from 2011.
what time you gonna be around tonight lads?
We'll just do some 5 lap quick races tonight and maybe a 25% if time persists.
One thing i learned from tonight. All my setups before around monza. Are absolute rubbish and not how i would set up the car now. Difference in already running 1 season.
That was a good run thanks to everyone who showed up. For someone who hasn't touched the game since Abu Dhabi i needed that run badly.
Only question i have is did anyone else notice the cars felt like they had horrendous oversteer compared to the previous season. It just baffles me that a Sauber feels smoother and more glued to the road than a Mercedes. I almost feel like i'm driving a completely different car compared to last season but i'm sure i'll get used to it.
after running in the Manor, the Merc is a dream.... in rich mode, im constantly on alert for oversteer
great run tonight, thx for hosting benny
Nigel will move up to Div 1 following his impressive showing tonight.
as long as i can keep the merc!
Haha. I forgot all about rich fuel mode.
Yes, you can keep the Merc mate.
Feel a bit rusty on some tracks, but already some good racing there, should be some good battles this season with no tire wear glitches to spoil the party.
I've spent most of my time running on Brazil lately. I barely even recognised some of the tracks we raced tonight.
aint Brazil just brilliant to keep pounding around, friendly curbs & so many lines
Do people have setups made for the circuits? Or was I just poor at handling my slippery Haas?
Let someone else handle your slippery Haas...
i have a setup saved for every circuit from last season. loosly based on spectres setup vids mate. use them if you havent got anything, and if you have time. maybe see if you need to adjust anything.
Beau did say last season that his haas was a bit oversteery though so itll be a bit of both.
have a look at the setup thread by @The_Spectre
