I feel the need to call out what could end up being the elephant in the room this season, and that is in regards to having different assists allowed for different divisions in the same lobby.

I'm not aware of any way to see what assists another player is running in an online lobby, so the question is how does this get policed in a way that is fair and doesn't consume a lot of someone's time?

The only way it could be fair is for all drivers in div 1 to somehow demonstrate, for all to see, that they are not running assists against their div regs and I don't see any way to do so that are completely fool proof. (ie, screenshot or video, both of which are not fool proof).

We're running it based on a trust system, drivers racing at ROOZ collectively have an excellent reputation for abiding by such rules and regulations. The assists allowed aren't mandatory, but it is easy to tell who is cheating regardless of policing.

Plus, the penalties for using the wrong assists are harsh enough to void their misuse.

Mate if someone’s using TC and you aren’t, on every exit you’ll run in their clacka consistently

It’ll be easily noticeable if someone is not permitted it and using if they are hopefully the penalties 24PP

Good racing tonight guys (sort of)

Just want to go over a few things, remember you must wait until there is a ready call when waiting on the grid. This is critical time to setup strategies for the race. Readying up straight away is considered bad sportsmanship, and can really have an impact on people's races if they cannot apply the strategy they want. It pays to be courteous.
If you have finished setting up your strategy, DO NOT hit X until a ready call is made either by myself or the room
host.

The formation lap, apart from people being a bit silly and crashing into one another, works flawlessly, so it will remain in use for the season.

I will be replacing races that are set at sunset with different time settings, apart from the 4 tracks with lights, sunset makes thing untolerably dark and will only result in accidents (China being the worst example). Strangely the track seems brighter when in the shade, doesn't make any sense to me.

Please ensure you send back up invites to people prior to readying up. Invites can also be sent midway through the qualifying session.

In an effort to make things a little more unique, if you and your teammate want to run as a custom team, now you can!

I better get in and start practicing. I've only managed about 8 laps, and that was just to submit my time. (7/8 of those laps I reckon had a spin or a visit off the road.)

Is there any where to get some basic setups for this game as of yet?

Youtube mate. Search f1 2017 bahrain hotlap and setup or something like that. Will give you a good starting point

Nice. I used that for 2016, didn't realise it had continued on to 2017.

Thanks to everyone for getting their laps in. Divisions have been posted in the OP. @Randm90 has been unable to set a lap due to his throttle spring snapping clean in half.
