    ok guys, we have narrowed it down to 2 types of race car....Please test out or make a few suggestions before you add your 1 vote to the poll. If you have any any FR suggestion for a race car please add them here, i think the AWD options are pretty well locked down to the ones listed below...Poll will close in 10 days and then we will finalize the car by narrowing it down to 2.

    Given its a race car, i am looking at having multiple tire options available, probably on fast wear to bring some strategy again, keeping in mind the issues we had last time. For this reason we will have to be careful and not make the regs too difficult or complicated for the network. Once the car is finalized we can look at this and make it a damn good season of close racing, with some strategy !

    AWD Cars suggested include
    - Subaru Impreza GT300
    - GTR Skyline TC ..... 32/33/34/35
    - Impreza Touring Car

    FR include
    - Merc SLS GT3
    - BMW TC
    - Nissan Silvia TC

    Good choices Stu, The SLS is pretty cool
    it would make great racing, but fast wear with these fast cars will kill the rubber worse than the Season 5 RX7, it wouldn't be right but fast wear was perfect on something like a 200hp mazda that was like 700KG, Normal wear would be ideal i think for the HP/Kg of the cars :thumbsdown:

    Yep agree, its always a case of getting the car picked then seeing what we can do with the regs.....

    Also, i should point out that the cars in the OP arent a certainty for the final poll.....they are just some of the more popular suggestions being bandied about....i did drive the GT300 Subi the other night and WOW, not real fast, but it was good to drive and am pretty certain it would give some cracking racing

    I can add it to the list, we did use it in one of our mid week series once and it was a bucket of bolts in a tray of oil.....terrible ! MIght be better in GT6 but will test it out.

    Yep I agree with the Subi GT300. The Lancer race car base model is a nice drive too, but it's no Subi.

    I'll have to have a try at the cars for AWD but i'm convinced the R32 TC is a good one due to @Hatfield ;)

    For RWD, I'd like to say the SLS at the moment BUT I would like to find more suggestions as i'm sure there's more out there ;)

    Ew no, anything more than normal wear is artificial, Origin provided incredible racing with normal wear and still had an element of strategy, it would also allow a variety of laps to box, instead of everyone diving in on the same lap, potentially ruining ones race.

    (The Impreza may not even be selected as the final car)
