That was brilliant.....right up until my wheel shat itself 2 hours in. Not a single off track moment up until then.

Just like that, my race is done. Im actually shattered. 6th to nothing in the blink of an eye.

That was a great race very happy and surprised with how it went. Huge congratulations to @KeedenMcdonald for a flawless race well deserved win.

Feel bad for @Russell and @Whizz(sorry dont know name on here) for missing out after the host change. Hopefully we can get these sorts of issues sorted for Monza

Unfortunately things didn't go to plan for the Holden Racing Team. We had great car pace to start with, started 8th got in 4th by end of sector 1 and was running in 2nd for a fair amount of time until the #96 Red bull pitted and we interpreted the lead. Plan for HRT was to 2 stop and had it worked out we could have been there at the end. The #02 Commodore has decent fuel economy to start the race but turned to in the middle stint forcing the #02 Commodore into the pits and completely ing our race. Holden have been contacted about the issue and are looking into it before the next event in monza. Still wasn't a bad run for the Commodore starting 8th and finished p6 .As previously stated not where we could have/should have been. Onwards and upwards to monza #walkandunite

Sounds like you’ve got a parity issue with the new Mustangs, have Roland notified at once

V888 supercars have been contacted as we had a few issues with fuel a few years ago when nissarn run different fuel at Winton motor raceway and all of a sudden won the race. Roland confirmed the complaint from HRT saying "everyone that finished ahead of the #02 Holden Commodore was clearly cheating and running different fuel and the economy seemed to far different " we're hoping something is done about this.

Barring the very disappointing issues at the start (I’ll be introducing some new rules for Monza regarding this, the fact Ian and Russell missed out was a complete joke.), that was a fantastic opening round to what’s shaping up to be a fantastically close championship.



Didn’t expect to have a 6 second lead by the end of my first stint considering I had lined up 6th on the grid, but a combination of an excellent start, decent lap one overtakes and taking full advantage of a hobbling Mustang netted me the lead. I put in probably my best ever stint in all my years of sim racing to pull away from the chasing pack.

However once Keeden jumped Norm and Matt with a faster pit stop, halving my lead in the process, it became immediately obvious the Beetle’s fuel economy was its downfall. Along with faster wear, Keeden and Norm closed and closed, and now after stop 2 he was right on me. I held the lead until the 2 Hour mark before Keeden got me with a fantastic pass through turns 4 and 5. I fought back but couldn’t get it done into 1 and ran wide at 3 gifting 2nd to Norm. The final pit stop won Keeden the race, and Norm got ahead in this stop as well.

Disappointingly confined to 3rd, Matt and I had another one of our encounters, unfortunately a rare error from him saw him hit me and gave himself damage. Huge congrats to @KeedenMcdonald and @Noremac. Also shoutout to @Viperzed and @Captain_Risky_21, I might have lost the race but kudos to them for choking in such a fashion that even Greg Norman would be proud

I can’t wait for Monza. I’ll try to have BOP sorted for it on Saturday.
