Oh... wait, leeboy seems to be able to do it. I guess I will have to go looking for some more talent. Anyone know where I can acquire this said talent? It appears I need the equivalent of about 2-3 sec a lap at Nurburg GP

It's the damn controllers. If you had an Xbox one it would be fine. It's all about the stupid ass PS3 triggers imo.

Then again, I think Leeboy uses the right stick for throttle and brakes. You guys should try that if not already. Makes the most sense.

Yea back in the day of using a controller the stick was my favourite for throttle and brake control. Way back in the day!

yes i can confidently say that if i had the xbox controller i would have made about 50% of the errors that i have this season, they are so touchy, and for someone who doesn't have very steady hands it's a real pain in the ass. When will sony learn.

I found this old kids bench Nintendo racing seat set up at a garage sale a couple of years earlier. It sat in the garage doing nothing it was tooo small to use. My wife had recently pulled it out and put it in the tip pile. I arrived home with my new G25 and was trying to set it up on a coffee table that was to low anyway. I spotted the old bench did a couple of preliminary measurements for height and to see if wheel and shifter would fit, perfect, pulled out the circular sore cut off the bench seat part and attached the 2 wood pieces to get it level. I thought it would do until I got something decent as i thought it would be too unstable for intense races. To my surprise i found the shape made it perfectly balanced and didnt move at all. I've been using it for a year and a half now and love it; I can even have my stubby sitting there through our most demanding races. Going to put a floor on it soon and stick with it, its compact easy to move out of the way and wife happy cos i wanted a race seat set up thats a lot bigger and harder to store out of site.

^^ Good stuff, loving the pictures and creative set-ups.
Before I got my seat I was desperately looking around the house and curbside rubbish collections for something like you've got there Bonus, stable, compact, and easy to move and use in different locations.

I've made mine myself. I havn't got any photos at the moment because its still un-painted. I looked at all the different style cockpits that are available out there and copied ideas from them, added a couple ideas of my own and there you have it.
The biggest issue to tackle for me was that i wanted it to be as compact and lightweight a possible (because i pack it away every night) but also as rigid and durable as possible too. Its fully adjustable, it uses an aftermarket style racing seat that i bought from autobarn for $200+ (cheapish one) and i use the Driving force GT wheel. I'll be updating the wheel soon because my DFGT is just about rat:):):):)! lots of wear in it. I'll post some pictures on here soon.

PS: I felt like a real :):):):):):) in Autobarn. I was in and out like a flash.

i built mine out of an old crosstrainer, a seat outa a VL commodore and some bits of wood i had lying around. i only had to spend $5 on bolts to mount the g27 to the wood. it does the job, it is adjustable to any hight the pedals can move toward u or away, the seat can move and it can come apart with 2 bolts so i can chuck it in the car and take it to a mates house. $5 racing seat ;)

    watch out for flying cows........
