    Reserve Racers
    [IMG]
    NextGen Two will be run as one off events for reserve drivers or anyone who is available on the same night as NextGen One. It will still use the Rules and Regs of NextGen One.
    Room hosts will be decided on the day of the race as drivers in NextGen Two are bound to change from round to round.
    So if you were hesitant in putting your name down before because the main series was full, you now have a race to run. Go to the driver comfirmation sheet (below where it says click me) and put your name down as a reserve driver. Good Luck

    3 Manufacturer's. BMW, Lexus, Ford.
    BOP Used.

    TEAMS BASED CAR OWNERSHIP.
    The individual won't win the championship. The car and car number will.

    Each car, livery and car number will have a team owner. The car, livery and car number MUST be the same for each round, regardless of the driver.

    TEAM STRUCTURE:
    The team owner can do any of the following options (and others) on how they want to run their team;

    Run a single car team using yourself as the driver.
    Run a single car team and run a different driver each round.
    Run a two car team using yourself and 'hiring' another driver for the series.
    Run a two car team using yourself and running a different driver each round.
    Run your team as a team owner only and 'hire' driver/s to race for you.

    TEAM NAME STRUCTURE:
    When choosing your team name, it must be in the following structure for ease and transparency.
    #(car number) (team name) example - #69 Ampol Motorsports

    Your options are open as to what you do but it is the team owners responsibility to have the car on the grid each round.
    Failure to be on the grid will result in a points penalty.
    Doing it this way is to hopefully ensure a full grid each round.

    I do think it's needed. My plan (hopefully) once the grid fills is to use the Season 10 divs as a guide to work out initial handicapping then have success ballast throughout the season. I just hope it doesn't get too messy.

    Or the other way just might be to start as normal and have an real aggressive success ballast maybe.

    OP Updated.
    After some more testing I have decided to remove the Nissan GTR from the list of choices.
    It will now be 3 Manufacturers only.
    The Lexus, BMW and Ford seem to be very close on track even without BOP.

    To the people who have entered or who are thinking of entering, I would like your input on the following ideas;

    BOP: As stated above, these cars to me seem pretty close on track, so would you prefer to run BOP so there is no set up needed or would you prefer no BOP so you can set up your car to your hearts content?

    Handicapping: Following on from @incey and his question, the handicapping system would work as follows. This is open to change as weight handicapping is new to me in GT Sport so anyone who has experience in this, I'm happy to hear if I am way off the mark here.
    Using GT Sport Season 10 Division;
    Div 1:
    100kg
    Div 2: 50kg
    Div 3: 20kg
    Div 4: 0kg
    On top of this would be success ballast for each round;
    1st: 50kg
    2nd: 35kg
    3rd: 30kg
    4th: 20kg
    5th: 15kg
    6th: 10kg
    7th: 5kg
    8th to 16th: -15kg until back to 0kg
    Maximum success ballast: 100kg

    If someone else drives your car in a round, that persons division weight will be used instead of yours. The success ballast will carry over as normal.

    If I/we can get this right, it should make for a level playing field regardless of which div you are in.
    What are your thoughts? Cheers.

    for a mid-week series, if you have tuning enabled, people have to find more time to set up the car

    with your success ballast, how long will it take you to check the numbers are correct pre-race?

    True in regards to the tuning. Arrive and drive will probably suit people better.

    As it will be bi-weekly and only one race per round, I plan on having a spreadsheet ready to go before race night so when people enter, it should just be a case of setting it then. Could even add a 10 min briefing pre practice to set.

    I am also considering not racing myself and just be the 16th man in the pits to over see everything as it is my first hosting on GT Sport and I want it to run as smoothly as possible. But I'll wait and see on that.
