It was, have no idea this happened.
I had my mic on the whole time. Must be something in the audio mix settings on obs, ill have it rectified today.
that's ok, I often talk just to myself for hours on end
Lol, oh there was supposed to be commentary?
I was looking at having a room open tonight for some practice, and I will earlier in the night - but I'm asking if anyone else would be able to host a little later. I'll be keen to keep racing for a time, but when I'm host, and someone pops in on 'the last race', I feel bad and we keep racing, and next thing you know it's 1am for me.
If someone else would host later in the evening for some practice tonight that would be awesome.
Hopefully catch a few of you on tonight! Practice for the last round!
@THE_UNDER_STUDY Can you please confirm the tyre and fuel regs? 1/2 of the current (6 x Tyres, 3 x fuel) looks about 3 x Tyres, 2 x Fuel? Also do we have a confirmation of next weeks weights yet?
Will have all info for next weeks race posted this arvo hopefully.
I'll probably be on to do some Mazda and then SCNG. Happy to host a room if no one else has by that time
It's likely I'll be on before most others due to my time zone, but once it hits about 8pm AEST i'll be asking for another host.
This is more of a heads up for those looking at joining in tonight, there is likely to be a room change.
As usual, I will have a party chat up.
I totally understand mate!
Thanks for hosting and my apologies for jumping in late the other night!
Out of interest can you make the room not locked to a user? or does this only happen for public rooms?
Lol, oh it's no problem at all! I don't care about the people turning up later in the evening etc - honestly I don't. It's more that I keep doing 'one more' etc when people jump in - this is no bearing on you or anyone else that jumps in, it's me wanting to make sure we all have a good time, and having too much fun, and oops it's 1am. At least if someone else is hosting, I can just go, and wont have to worry about the room dropping.
Only way is to make it public - which would mean Joe Random could come on, and with our various weights, cars and HP it's just easier to keep it private to friends. I'd do it with the Mazda, as that's an easy one to regulate
Ooooh... that's what I've got to do...
Entry Open for the Final Round of the Next Generation Supercars Championship.
Information for the Final Round of the Championship: All drivers please read as there are changes to the settings.
Changes to Fuel and Tyres:
Tyre Wear : x3
Tyre Regs : RS & RM - Both Mandatory
Fuel Depletion : x2
Initial Fuel : Default
Changes to Damage:
Mechanical Damage: Light
As this is an enduro round, I have removed heavy damage so your race isn't finished on the first lap. The flip side to this though is passing and overall driving standards will be more heavily scrutinized. This change does not give drivers the right to start dive bombing others off the track.
Weights for the last Round:
Each team has received a 52kg ballast reduction along with there normal success or negative ballast from the last round.
Driver weights with provisional driver:
For this final round, it is possible that one or two teams that normally run in NG1 could end up racing in NG2 for this round. This is due to the NG1 race now being streamed and needing a streamer spot and other team owners have picked up the slack when some teams have gone missing so we are currently oversubscribed in NG1. This will be done at the steward's discretion and will be noted closer to the race.
Stewards Report for Round 9:
The protest involved:
Running over HP than allowed.
Notes from protest:
Car #28 ran 10HP above the allowed HP for his car, (as shown in pic)
Decision: 25 point penalty.
Whilst weights and HP are checked prior to each race, the onus is still on each driver to run the correct values. It must also be noted that over the whole nine rounds, the HP of all vehicles has never changed, only the weights. The stewards took into consideration #28's explanation that it was an oversight on his behalf when giving out the penalty.
