The upshifting button (the click once you pull the paddle back) has started to wear and doesn't recognise every upshift everytime. It's like it's been pushed in which now requires extra effort to get that click.
Has anyone fixed this issue and how?
Second option is what wheel should I get to replace it with a t300rs base? The alcantara looks nice but expensive at about $300.
    Any thoughts?

Get a TH8A shifter and be done with the paddles.

The little nipple (hehe) is depressed further than the downshift side so contact cleaner won't work but thanks for the input :)
Has anyone pulled a wheel apart?

This is a typical TM thing from what I’ve seen. I had a wheel replaced due to it. The micro switches are cheap pieces of junk and should be swapped out.
