Wow didn't exoect to see such a big response so quickly!
@Crunch
I too would like a very hardcore series but with the possibility of lag and various other things going wrong, simulation damage would be too extreme.
Full qualifying takes too long, and seeings AI want to kill you at every opportunity on track, short qualifying is our best bet. Not to mention a 3 part practice would take several hours. AI still suck online so hopefully we can get grids of 22 humans.
The manual pit option is still a bit glitchy, not just that the game is still poor on penalties, I drove into Melbourne pits at full speed and got no penalty, but at Montreal I was .5km/h over and got a drive through which cost me the race. On some tracks the icon to indicate pit lane speed doesn't appaear until it's far too late, so until they patch it I'll leave pit assist on.
Tyres do indeed scale, and thankfully not idiotically like in past games, making 50% races viable. It will depend on what the majority want, but there will be some 100% races.
Official start time reflects the real life time, but in this game we have been given the option to change it, making a day race at Singapore possible.
I really like @Mustafur's idea of splitting it, so we'll have 3 X 7 races to keep it fresh, and after 21 races we can find out the global champion.
Just remember guys, I have no problem with you guys running the same number, as after you select it in career mode the only way to change it is to restart it!
