ok guys.....did a heap more testing last night for PITSTOPS to work so you need to
PLEASE read the following.....
WHEN YOU HAVE LIKED THIS POST IT MEANS I KNOW YOU HAVE READ IT, UNDERSTOOD IT AND CHECKED IT !
I WILL THEN MARK YOU IN GREEN IN THE DRIVER LIST IN THE OP. For drivers who havent liked, it just means i / we will need to make sure you get this right before the season starts.
PITSTOPS....
there will be 3 rounds where pit stops will be
COMPULSORY. From the testing last night what SHOULD happen is you come into the pits, the car will be held for approx 4 seconds and then you will be released back into the race.
IF YOU ARE FITTED WITH NEW TIRES OR GIVEN FUEL IT MEANS YOU HAVE THE WRONG PROFILE SAVED IN YOUR PIT OPTIONS.
To test this (
@Ad2mny and
@Samsung1998racer were having issues) we opened up the room to as normal, ran some 8 lap races and all pitted at different times. All of us were fine except for ADS and Samsung, who had either tires fitted or got the hot tires after the stop.
I changed the room to tuning so we could access the PITSTOP options and found that the guys who had DEFAULT selected were the ones that had no issues. Ads and Samsung deleted all their saved pit options for other cars and then selected default.
We went back to a NON TUNE ROOM and tested again and it worked perfectly for those guys....
If you want to test on your own, do the following
- online lobby
- Tuning off
- select 'compulsory pit stop' in the room options (in room settings at bottom)
- start a race and you will get a side screen message saying 'compulsory pit stop' as you come to pit lane
- pit in and you should be held for approx 4 seconds
- on pit exit check to see that your tires and fuel have not changed from when you entered
If fuel is filled, or you hear the rattle guns to take off your tires, or tires overheat on exit you will need to do the following
- change the room regs to tuning allowed (default setups - no)
- go into pitstop options in your race garage list
- select "default" and make sure you select YES - OR delete all other car list till "default" is the only one
- go back into a "default set up room" and try a race again with "Comp Pit stop". all should work properly.

JUST FYI, in my pitstop profiles i didnt delete any, i just selected the DEFAULT option which was sitting below the others.
