If proper qualifying mode is used, would you be able to tell if somebody would het stuck? I.e. they can't get out of pit lane at the start of the quali session?
Only five minutes for the Super Formula qualifying? That's not much time at all. But the strategy element is enough for it to get my vote. Anything to equalise the racing
Yes, in fact in a lobby I think you have to specifically turn it on and set a boost rate. I asked because I was doing some test runs prior to voting and noticed the boost graphic on screen and realised I hadn't activated it. Personally, not having used it much, I'd prefer not to have it. Then again it's an interesting tactical tool to be overlaid with your race strategy.
The push to pass can serve 2 purposes... 1. To overtake and 2nd as a fuel strategy tool. This is because not using it saves a considerable amount of fuel. Worth keeping in I think.
@MINT_GTR and I tested it and it cannot be disabled and it will be set to 1x setting the setting doesn't change the level of boost it gives, only the duration This amount gives between 1 and 2 laps usage on most circuits It does use a lot more fuel It can be used during qualifier mode, so if the SF19 does win, we will qualify in practice mode please ensure the button is mapped to your devices
That's why we are using practice mode to qualify, otherwise it comes down to holding the overtake button for an entire lap to get the best time
for those who are unaware, we used to run TITTS on a tuesday in GT6 with nitrous and @incey pushed the L3(or R3) button so hard he snapped it off his wheel mid-race
as the cars are the same, does it matter if its a Toyota or Honda we use? I brought the Honda ages ago and am lacking funds atm lol. also does overtake not work In practice mode?
just had a go with the otake button on 1.1....doesn't really feel that much faster. also had to change the wheel settings to be able to turn properly. the csl elite on SEN Auto is pretty good in this car
