Awesome replay mate, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing you back on track this weekend, hopefully. Cheers!
guys....not sure if many of you have missed this .... If you are a keen designer, Chris from The Gamesmen has put up a prize for the best livery (he will decide) on either a Porsche or BMW M3... Road or race ... up to you. He was keen to have it printed and up on the wall in the shop and office. http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/the-gamesmen-livery-competition.4157/#post-215301
8 Should be fine...hope the kids stay in bed! I finally managed to upload my replay I made at Tsukuba - was great fun. Was lucky to finish 5th after everybodys early pit stops gave me great false hope about my track position getting to third and even 2nd just before pitting, Had some good battles, glad to have avoided any major offs. After doing two pit stops in the middle of the race I came out 9th, figuring more would stop and I would gain some places back...i kept waiting and it never happened lol. Figured I would have some fun getting past whoever I could - @scottb721 put up a fight for a while, had a slight off and I managed to get past. @Road2fury came out of the pits in front of me, just as I was past Sooby and catching @fezza and @webnomad. Had a good battle for a while, but when R2F got past Fezza and Web I figured I wouldn't see him again - though I was eventually lucky enough to pass them when they tangled each other up. Props to crunch gq and others I lapped, all did well to hold lines until I was close, then stayed out of way without fighting the passes.
Thanks for the results @robin edwards . Congrats to podium, and well done everyone. Such a challenging and individual race, apart from the 1st lap!
I usually don't go too bad at the Green Hell...but it chewed me up and spat me out last night. I had at least 5 offs, getting turned around and all. Lose soo much time after a wheel looks at a blade of grass. At one point, seeing I would have one wheel in sand, turned off track more in the hope I wouldn't spin...didn't work. I still had fun most of the race - and had a great time with some close racing towards the start for a while. I had high hopes of catching @Aza2672 and was closing - but mistakes added up, and he didn't crash on the last corner as I was hoping. Glad your back held up!
Good, fun track. I enjoyed last night, hope I can do as well in the next one. Good job on hanging in there with the newly refreshed knee @Easyprey007 !
Great race last night, for the bottom division here, there was some real pace and good driving. I really ruined my chances last night by leaving the track at the end of the quali lap, putting me from mid pack to the back of the grid, not only that I was so caught up in a battle with blunty at the end of the first lap I forgot to pit and did my first 2 laps on mediums. all being said I was very happy with a 4th place finish, but can't help feeling if I didn't make those silly mistakes I would have had a podium...
I was just going to ask that. Are there any other things to know for the sprint round for noobs like myself?
