Maybe he's away? Looks like he hasn't been online here since Monday and I know the PS app is rubbish. None of the notifications come through on my phone
Thanx, I thought I'd blown it with a couple of mistakes mid race that cost me about 10 seconds. I didn't get into the lead until lap 34. It was a long looong race.
Very tough night nearly 2 hours is a long time to drive Bathurst. Too many little mistakes on my soft stint and misjudged my fueling for the last stint, meaning I ran my last 2 laps on fumes, good for @Peersy but not for me. Great Battles @Chatwin, but you got the better of me in the end
Apologies to all drivers out there tonight. I completely forgot we were only allowed one set of softs and used two during the race. I fully accept whatever penalty is handed down for this mistake and want to apologise to those I raced against with an unfair advantage.
Qualified top of the Medium starters at 5th. Was able to stick mostly with the Soft starters, however they did slip away a bit. I jumped in the pits at 10, not 8 as the gap to 6th was still too close at 8, but something happened behind me that caused the gap to grow to 16s+. I threw the Softs on and went about hunting down the old Soft tyres in front and made 'some' headway, but it wasn't enough. When I went in for the last time on lap 25 for my Mediums, I thought I could hunt down the front runners as I did well in this car in Mediums, getting low 30's. However little errors started to show up, preventing a battle for the podium. Well done to @emmo46 @RPeeM808 & @kiwinado on your win and podium finishes. For me, there wasn't a lot of racing. I had almost an hour and a half of time trails...
Very happy with third and my race as a whole. I had no real big mistakes just lots of small corner errors which made for seconds lost over the laps. Even on the corners I was nailing, I would only gain small bit of time. @emmo46 gave me a fighting chance a couple of times and we got to throw bows in the esses but was honestly way too consistent lap after lap. Mad respect @RPeeM808 on the one stop, again nailing lap after lap.
