Plus your podium points push down the points scored by anyone else finishing behind you that round. There seems to be a drop round discussion every season as new drivers come on board as it's a bit to wrap your head around, though just had a quick browse through the "New members" section and couldn't find anything that particularly explains the drop round rules, so maybe a bit of feedback for the site admin there.

It really is a crap rule, not speaking to anyone but just about the rule, annoying how I have to lose points but sparkle doesnt. Once again not speaking to sparkle just an example

Sparklehead will have his worst race finish deducted from his overall points tally at the end of the season, as will you and everybody else in the league.

You don't choose, you automatically drop the lowest score. Sorry if my wording earlier was a bit confusing.

I think 6 out of 7 counting towards your final points is fair, better than say FIA races where it's something like 5 out of 10. Plus it balances the fact that this is a hobby for most of us and not purely competitive so gives you that breathing space to have a round off when real life intervenes or to drop a particularly poor result if you're able to attend all 7 rounds

Unless you finish worse than 5th this round, you will drop Monza. I'm not too sure what sparkle's worst round is as of yet

They have only theoretically been deducted mate. His drop round currently will be his 3rd at Tokyo UNLESS he finishes lower at Autopolis. Yours will be the 5th at Monza UNLESS you finish lower at Autopolis. I haven't done the calculations but i'm pretty sure you'll need to win with pole and fastest lap to have a shot at the championship.

So im still in it? Managed 4th at monza also. dont want to sound like im correcting you but just in case lol
