Not even slightly ashamed to say that the opening intros based off GT1-GT4 brought tears to my eyes. Never have I been so unbelievably keen for a game in my life, Gran Turismo Sport has become such a huge part of my life and brought me genuine friends from across the globe. Gran Turismo 6 started that trend with Rooz and Gran Turismo 7 will continue it so I can't wait to start playing
How time flies. I first played Gran Turismo in 1998 and still remember belting around High Speed Ring in Megaspeed Cup like it was yesterday - though it looks a lot different now Going to get my hands on it on Day 1.
So only two more seasons of gtsport to go. I have had some great races and seasons in gtsport but am ready for the new adventure. Hands up those of you who have driven a WW2 Jeep.
My hand is up. My brother in law owned a couple of army surplus jeeps to use on his farm in Oberon. I drove them a lot, they mostly had no brakes and I remember changing transfer cases a couple of times. They could go just about anywhere, you could nearly climb trees in them.
Might drive it in the return of TITTSUP For those who do not know, this was TITTSUP: https://raceonoz.com/forums/index.p...oz-take-it-to-the-street-under-pressure.3030/ Which itself was a growth from TITTS on GT6: https://raceonoz.com/forums/index.p...z-take-it-to-the-street-club-id-1066294.1590/
I did laugh when i saw that... Was it GT4 that had the old model T fords ? Game certainly looks pretty and there was a lot of moments that go back many series that bring back a lot of memories. Will be interested to see what the driving is like and if they have been able to move it forward, or stay with what has worked for them for so long. From the looks of it though the game will be massive in terms of what it offers.... Imagine if they got in first and offered up driver changes !
I know there are a lot of guys who won’t drive GT7 if it’s the same driving / physics. Myself included. Is still a core of guys who enjoy the pc2 league and while we have enough for at least 2 grids I would expect we would continue.
So very much looking forward to the release of this game, and for someone that just straight up can't afford a PS5, I'm VERY thankful they are releasing it on PS4 also. I'm quite looking forward to the way you upgrade the car, piece by piece instead of just levels like in GT Sport. The WWII Jeep looks like it could be fun. I'm already planning on taking some time off work when its released so I can sit there and get the licenses, have a good play around, get the Sunday cup out of the way I just hope in a way it's not so easy to earn money in game, make you work for the upgrades and vehicles. It's going to be very interesting, I can't wait
https://www.gtplanet.net/new-gran-t...more-revealed-in-kazunori-yamauchi-interview/ As with Sport, Yamauchi confirmed that GT7 will continue to support a maximum of 16 cars on track at a time. How wonderfully pathetic.
Do any PS4 racing games currently allow more than 16 cars? from memory the F1 series does. Wreckfest is 16 but if you open a PS5 only room it's 24. Any others?
NASCAR Heat 5 has up to 40 players I think, but most of the fan/player base is in the USA and not global like GT. Maybe after global supply chain issues have normalised (re: PS5 and chip supply) Sony/PD will eventually shut down PS4 functionality and then boost game features on a Spec II release when everyone is on PS5. Unlikely, but who knows.
