Sorry, my last line probably came across wrong. More of a let me know if you think that my thinking on the matter doesn't make sense.
Before the recent update I think there was enough challenge in driving the car it would have separated drivers naturally. Now you can drive it like a retarded monkey and not lose control any advantage someone driving properly might have over said retarded monkey is gone if there is effectively zero tyre wear. At best the non-retarded monkey might save 2 or 3 seconds in the one mandatory pit stop not having to change tyres but then suffer again later in the race when the tiny bit of wear kicks in The new physics imo are easier than GT Sport so having run several seasons in a row at effectively no tyre wear I personally think it's time to put some emphasis back on proper driving rather than who can throw a car around a track the fastest. Just my opinion of course
I regularly host rooms with no issues, i could count on one hand with spare fingers the number of times rooms have crashed over the past few years and likely it wasn't my connection that caused it anyway. I don't mind hosting if no better option is available ... someone else can please be responsible for screenshots and stuff though
I've had reports of issues with pitstops causing other problems in races. Can anyone elaborate on that please?
I must be one of the retarded monkeys, I am struggling to get up to pace with guys I regularly compete with and spin about every third lap. I had less trouble driving the McLaren and Zonda last season that a lot of other people seemed to struggle with. I'm confused
ok ran some test races tonight and witnessed the pit glitch. First race went fine. second race, 2 cars when they pitted then stayed in the pits after the pit stop animation when they crossed the finish line, their positions updated to where they should have been correctly. But they still couldn't be seen on track. We will just have to see how we go for round 1. Best case scenario, it only happens in subsequent races, and not in the first. Worst case, may have to run sprint rounds all season.
