I cant believe its taken this long to get the Sierra in the game. One of the most iconic touring cars in the world. I reckon will be some nights lost doing ATCC replicas.
Everyone probably already knows, but Road Atlanta is also being added tomorrow: Road Atlanta is Coming to Gran Turismo 7 in November 24 Update – GTPlanet
I've done a few races post update and have encountered and issue where my engine sound disappears off to never, never land. The gearbox whine and tire noise are still there though. Once in that state It seems that I have to restart GT7 to get the engine sound back. anyone else seeing this?
same happened to me once, I quite out to race menu then back and the engine sound returned. I also get a sound glitch since ages ago in drifting if I restart without bringing the car to a stop, especially after an off-track, then there's no tyre squeal unless you drop each wheel off the track then back on.
I have had the sound glitch a few more times and it's been extremely frustrating. All in the sierra. Arcade race at Bathurst. Did one it was fine. Then tried again no player engine sounds. Couldn't get it to go properly even after restarting PS5. Tried another location, and it was fine. Then today did 3 WTC700 races at Laguna. First one was fine. Second two the sound disappeared after the pit stop. P.S report on reddit suggests it's linked to car mods.. I have been modding that sierra. https://www.reddit.com/r/granturismo/comments/zab5a6/engine_sound_not_working/
I had the sound glitch during Sunday's race. Was fine in practice I think, then quali came and I only had some gearbox whine and very faint tyre noise. I pitted and it all went back to normal.
As long as it runs smoother, people who suffer from motion sickness might be able to use it. Let's hope for mutli player
