I had to resort to mediums I would've had to pit on the softs. We have to pit in Dubai for fuel right?
Ok boys this is how I see the points playing out up to our final round Name........................Points......Drop round..........Actual. @Jim_aka_The_Man.........108 - 13 = 92 @cowdoesfly................100 - 0 = 100 @Spidey_11..................92 - 10 = 82 @TheJuzzy.................... 87 - 8 = 79 @hughesy_12................ 56 - 0 = 56 @Blue XR8..................49 - 0 = 49 @Killercarlcox69.................48 - 0 = 48 And the rest kinda stays the same due to the drop rounds being a "0". Jim and I were running a few laps last night at Dubai International with a twilight setting of: Starting time 19:00 hrs, time progression set to normal, 60 minute practice and the sun was just setting at the immediate start of the session, the moon was out and during the practice the sun went down and looked really good. There was no sun glare but will we have time progression on our last race? If we do the temperature will change slightly which will effect the tyres but it would look very nice to have a changing sunset setting. @Killercarlcox69 are you back for this race? can you please advise of the start time and if the time progression will be used? Hope to see everyone at the final race
AFAIK is just standard 12pm no time progression. We'll get to see weather effects etc in HTO I think.
There's probably going to be a big reshuffle as the times mentioned above are quicker than most of the div1 guys by some margin.
I checked last week and there were a few of us in D3 with better times than quite a majority of D1 then as well.
For the next round @ Dubai international the room setting will be TrackTime = 18.00 Time progression = Real Weather = 1 slot Conditions = light cloud There is still going to be a 60 minute practice session followed by an 15 minute qualify with a 59 lap race which should be the equivalent of around 90 minutes A pitstop will be required to go the distance of the race as you will need more than 120 L to complete the race Suggestion: #1 testing should take place between 19:00 and 21:00 to figure out tire temperature #2 work out pit strategy and set tyre pressure appropriate to when you will come in for your pitstop #3 preset your pit strategy and tested out beforehand so you can get in and out of pits as quick as possible Race hard drive clean and have fun good luck
Was in 7th for about the first 5 or so laps until i realised I hadn't changed my fuel load properly, so another race was ruined because I just had to pit. Then when I came out the leaders were about 10 seconds behind me about to lap me. I spun at one of the corners and had to reverse off the kerb into the grass to try and avoid hitting any of the leaders. I got back out onto the straight and I saw another guy coming up behind me so I needed to get out of the way, and as I moved over I lost control and nearly spun right back in front of him. I only drove for another two laps before deciding it might just be best if I pull over to the side and wait for the race to finish. I was frustrated and had nearly ruined the leaders race. Was not a great night.
Just looking through the lap time charts, @Spidey_11 & I had same lap time at Imola? Does anyone still have a screenshot? I might, but in case someone could answer first as I am at work..... working...
Sorry yeah I noticed I put spidey's time against your name at the time, but must have forgot to change it. Will update it next week.
Jim I should still have the screen shot on my ps4, I'll check tonight You still camping and driving back for the final of race? I'm happy to start a little later so you and cows can battle out the championship
Ok, I was going to put up my setup but I can't work out how to do it on here.... anyone wanna give me a run thru??
