[Postponed] Mint GTR celebration series.

Well looks like you all get a factory drive after all!

With the running of the Bathurst V8SC event on 24/4/16 I was contemplating running a round or 2 on the weekends before this. With no @Race of champions organised on the Project Cars side of things there will be a couple of free sundays to start this series.

Thought long and hard but I'm doing V8 supercars and probably will only have 1 free weekend in April to race.

will we be using the Nurburgring combined layout or just the GP circuit?

I think I can do it , lock it in Eddie . Are we doing V8's ?

Success penalty points table for Race & Qualifying .... Yes as in the Blancpain series there is a points table for the first 5 in qualifying ... @Hatfield

I think the penalties apply to Championship order. So the penalties only take effect from Round 2.
Let's say I'm leading the championship after Round 1 and i get Pole for Round2, i don't get 10 points for Pole. Only 7.5 because i'm leading the championship, and let's say i manage to go 2 wins in a row, i'll only bank 18.8 points for the race win.
So If someone misses Round 1 and therefore are not penalized, and they come 2nd in Round 2, they will get 20 points. Outscoring the Race Winner.... which is a little weird but hey, Success Ballast!

That points system is more of a mindf**k than the Black Ops 3 campaign

Can we get clarification on how that success points penalty thing actually works?
Also I'm in for GT6, trying to work out the car atm still, haven't driven any yet to know what to drive.

Easy to explain. if you are in the top 5 in points you will incur a penalty for the following round... 1st place only score 70% of the full points awarded eg. if you are in 1st place and you win you would only be awarded 18.8 points... The reason for this is 2 fold... it stops someone running away with the title and I am unable to use weight penalty in project cars. This is something that can be used equally across both platforms

Not GT3 again , why are we doing these when there so much more.

I don't know, could you think of a reason to use Ford Falcons to pay tribute to a ROOZer who now drives a Nissan GT-R GT3 in the Blancpain Endurance series?
