This is very anecdotal, but the rear view mirrors on F1 2015 is the very best rear view mirrors in existence. Anyone who's played Pro Season could back me up on that. Also, I'll believe damage in Gran Turismo when I see it - not a single moment before. It's just not a staple of the series. I found this funny quote from someone on GTPlanet: 'And on the 7th day Kaz said - Let there be damage' (GT Bible: 86)
I think the game itself looks amazing and there are some cool features to try out online but am i the only 1 dissapointed that they havent upgraded some of the gt3 cars to current spec examples Mercedes SLS AMG to Mercedes AMG BMW Z4 to BMW M6 Ferrari 458 to Ferrari 488 And also where about's is the Bentley GT3 and RUF (Porsche) GT3 though i believe Porsche is a licensing issue correct me if i'm wrong I just feel like they could have upgraded the game for the current era of racing. 2011 was five years ago and GT3 has changed considerably since then. What is everyones opinion on this Also can we please have REAL DAMAGE PLEASE would complete the game
Would be nice to see some newer spec GT3 cars certainly. And your right about the Porsche issue. Need for Speed own the rights to Porsche in video games and aren't willing to share with anyone else, hence why everyone else gets stuck with the lesser known RUF version.
EA's license to Porsche is running out very, very soon and other games have bought the Porsche License temporarily away from EA recently, Forza in the form of a DLC got Porsche into FH2 and FM6, so although unlikely to see Porsche featured, its also not one hundred percent ruled out either. Although if i had to take a stab in the dark, it'd be don't get your hopes up for it!
The car listing may be updated before release and newer GT3 cars might be DLC? Not sure if there are licencing issues with GT3 either...
I have a strong feeling this will be awkwardly close to GT6, with maybe a few things nicer and looking prettier
I like GT6, all I want from them now is some newer cars, more tracks and a stable environment to compete on.
Maybe some classics would be good too, Trans Am, Can Am and old F1 cars, a few old world touring cars like Mini Cooper S and Lotus Cortina from the 60's
In what sense? From all accounts, the physics models (tyres, camber, suspension etc.) have all been massively updated. Visuals are better (especially if the 60FPS is maintained) and the sounds are an upgrade and still a WIP from what I've read. I think it will be much better than GT6 in terms of feel. It will have less content, but it is supposed to be aimed at online play anyway with the FIA championships. It's like Rainbow Six Siege...almost no single player stuff, relies heavily on online competition. Perfect for ROOZ!!
Well when you've spoken to someone who's played it already and says it's pretty much like GT6, take of that what you will.
Has there been any detailed info released on the livery editor? Do we know if you can do multi-colour paint schemes like different colour panels/roofs/ top different to bottom/etc./etc. before adding the "stickers"? Or is it just one colour, then throw the stickers on?
I was hoping we could put on stripes of various sizes and quantity. even some chevrons like the Marlboro cars.
Yeah, exactly, so you could make almost totally unique designs, even without adding "company name" stickers
Insider knowledge from GTP tells us that the liver editor is stupidly detailed, with various preset decals to place on the car, however we will be able to create our own decals, meaning possibilities are endless.
Not sure how detailed you can get with it, this is a pretty vague rundown of what it does...Unusual for Polyphony ! (go to 7 min 25) http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gtsport/livery_editor/
