Havent touched the game in the past fortnight and just jumped on for my first 10 laps around RA. Managed a 2:20.043 which should be good enough to see me avoid getting lapped provided I keep it on the black stuff for the full 20 laps.
Ok guys, Just a quick refresher with round 1 tonight .... 1. After some prac races this week, if you are mid pack or farther back, BRAKE EARLY so you dont create chaos at Turn 1 ! 2. REDRESS if you make contact. When following other cars you NEED TO BRAKE A LITTLE EARLIER so you dont drive up the tailpipe of the car in front ! Use your heads please ! 3. Observe and respect track limits 4. Save your replay if there is an issue 5. PIT LANE is open from Lap 1. 6. Have asked for the prac room BEFORE the race to be a "tuning" room so everyone can have their pit strat set correctly 7. Look for faster cars on pit exit. 8. OBSERVE BLUE FLAGS ! if you defend against a car lapping you, there is a very high chance of penalty ... 99.9% ! IF there is someone in your div that is CLEARLY too fast for your div we 'may' make a div change for round 2.....points will be decided by mod discussion if this needs to happen. Yeah, mine peaks at about 116, lower temp for me because im slower ! Temps settle as the wear comes down on the tires....MIne are only above 110 for about the first 8 laps....
You have to set your tyre pressures in your pit strategy even if you aren't changing tyres mate. Otherwise they set to default pit temp which is 2.00 and default tyre temp is 1.40 for this car so you can understand why that is happening, It's a stupid glitch.
Get rid of the 5 minute warmup! Was looking forward to racing regardless of how far off the pace I was but sadly I got the stupid bug where your FFB turns to upon the start of the race. Will be back next week to try again. I wonder what bug PCars will throw at me next time.
Sorry for the quit guys....I in hate this game! Had brick red tyres right from lap 1, there was no was I could stay straight and I was drenched in sweat because it was twice as hard to handle. Had a couple of spins but what can ya do when ya rears hit 130+ degrees
How great are the mandatory pitstops really great to mix up the race, one minute im runnin 17s and pit no tyres and the red f@#$ing hot 150deg and go to 2,19s. Had 12laps of it very pist. Just so were all on the same page how do you pit for no tyres and not get screwed over? Had a pit strategy set with good pressures
