This is getting silly now, oval racing again for Group 3's tomorrow. Sure the racing is epic but how are they supposed to get sufficient feedback on car handling and kerb behaviour when they give us these combinations? Only did one race tonight due to F1LOZ commitments, all was going well until I came across some clown a lap down... Car: Mercedes AMG GT3
Being a beta, they don't want to give away too much, whilst still going through their program of tests. As long as they get some feedback about the online environment and any bugs, then they will give you enough 'toys' to make that possible...and only just enough. Pretty sure it has whet the appetite though, even for those just watching.
Due to the lack of quality gameplay available for the Gr.3s, I have pieced together a video showcasing every Gr.4 car around the Nürburgring. This took a long time to put together, but was well worth it. If you guys enjoyed I'll make a similar video with the other groups. It's a shame the capture downgrades it to 720p 30fps, it doesn't really do justice how excellent this game looks.
Some valuable info I found from PD: Regarding the Sportsmanship Rating and Etiquette in Online Races Created 17-04-2017 By teramoto_pd 03 Please be aware that the Sportsmanship Rating (SR) and Ghosting in the Closed Beta is still undergoing adjustment. The adjustment of the SR and receivingfeedback for it is another objective of the Closed Beta. Please bear with us while we continue to adjust and improve the SR system. We are currently evaluating the implementation of the following measures: 1. Adjustment of SR value variation and judgement 2. Measures against intentional disruption of races and beginner races, and measures for matching 3. Improvements in the SR display method In regards to 1., we are currently evaluating the measures for those who are crashed into during an incident, and whether to hold back SR reduction for wall contact and running off track, while making the SR drop larger for car to car collisions. In regards to 2., ghosting is implemented for drivers that are Driver Rating (DR) E or D under certain conditions, but we will implement certain improvements for these judgments. We also intend to implement improvements to prevent advantages gained through ghosting, such as using it to overtake other cars. We are also taking measures against drivers who purposely disrupt races. 3. Back when we hosted the online test version of GT4, we had discovered already that a rating system that rises and falls very quickly during every race makes drivers nervous and unmotivates people from racing, so we are considering more improvements to how the SR is displayed. We also expect that in the product version, there will be more users participating which will make the SR system work more effectively. Because the number of participants in the Closed Beta is limited, there is an issue with the matching not working as effectively as it should. Also, there is a minimum required SR score to rise through each DR class. So it is just as important to raise SR, not just win races. Try to run races as clean as possible. In addition, please note that there will be a conventional open lobby in the product version. You will also be able to set a SR restriction on the room setting for the Open Lobby. (Though your DR and SR will ONLY rise or fall in the Sport Mode).
The above coming from the same guys that created the penalty system in GT6.... Where you get penalised by someone crashing into you.. It's a great goal to reach... if they can get it kind of right...
Is the ffb and road feel actually any good, or is it just the same as gt6 which was let's face it pretty ordinary and weak compared to the newer games that have come along since.
Ummmmm, at this stage it doesnt give anywhere near the feedback that Pcars gives.....Very much like GT6, the feel switches on and off (wheel is either heavy or really light) with not much in between. Some will like the simplicity of it, others will hate it when compared to AC or PCARS
My phone woke me up to alert that this had finally finished, and here it is, my pièce de résistance, every single Group 3 (GT3) car tested around Brands Hatch, all 31 minutes of it. I hope you like it
Whole bunch of new cars I spotted Peugeot RCZ (or 308) in road, Gr.B and Gr.3 variants Honda NSX Gr.3 VW Beetle Gr.3 (yes I'm serious, go to 1:27) Lamborghini Huracan Gr.3 Mazda 6 Gr.3 Some Merc A Class AMG VW Golf Gr.4 And I'm sure there's more I'm yet to spot. Either way that is one of the most gorgeous trailers I've ever seen.
