    Anyone tried playing with caster, steering sensitivity and ridiculously low steering lock? Apparently can help with car control

    I have my buttons mapped as.......
    O=pit limiter
    X=ignition
    □=starter
    /\= Dash display
    L2= MFD then you can use the d pad to change everything that's available. Even pit strategy.
    R3=lights
    L3= wipers.

    Came across this on GT Planet.
    For PC you use 900 degrees in driver and in game for 1:1 on all vehicles.. If this is not a option for consol here is the individual steering rotation for each vehicle manufacturer.

    Ferrari = 480 deg
    McLaren = 480 deg

    BMW = 565 deg

    Lamborghini = 620 deg
    Lamborghini ST = 620 deg
    Honda = 620 deg

    Lexus = 640 deg
    Aston Martin = 640 deg
    Bentley = 640 deg
    Nissan = 640 deg
    Mercedes = 640 deg

    Jaguar = 720 deg
    Audi = 720 deg
    R-EX = 720 deg

    911 GT3 = 800 deg
    911 CUP = 800 deg

    I had a fiddle with DOR last night though ended up back on the in game default of 540 degrees (Aston Martin with T-GT, set to 900 in driver). I tried setting T-GT to 540 with in game at 540 or 900 and also tried increasing caster to 14 and reducing steering sensitivity to 14. Definitely can feel the difference, but still prefer the default I think

    Some good info on pitstops. Also make sure to brake and engage 1st gear into pits otherwise you're pit limiter won't come on even if set to automatic

    Just learnt Misano a Paul Riccard (aka PRic!) and not ashamed to say that turning on the ideal line for 5-6 laps of practice was a good way to learn the circuit and braking markers. I then turned it back off and did 10 min quick races against the A.I.

    How are you guys finding the console version? Do you have a server up or is that not possible for console? Interested to know if it generates results files the same as the PC version as I have been building a site to manage race results, leagues etc

    personally i think its one of the best game ive played. there are still a lot of bugs that need to be sorted out. the worst is that there are no private lobbies, but we can't see any servers for australia.

    i'd have to agree - for me in the limited number of games I have played, this one definitely feels so good. as said, apart for the few little bugs, it's bloody brilliant. Looking forward to powering it up again - and once the servers come online, some races between us all :)
