LOOK AT THE SPLIT! IT'S AWESOME! A story of what could've been for this Aston Martin V12 Vantage wearing Greg Murphy's famous 'Lap Of The Gods' warpaint. Unfortunately the scheduled driver @BKXI cannot attend the race so it will live on in the garage....
Very nicely done - seeing a few of the Kmart liveries being made recently lol. Thanks @Viperzed for holding the qualifying last night, I don't envy the rest of the week for you lol.
My Livery for the big race this coming Sunday. Went away from my usual C. Waters Livery, and thought I would replicate something different. Thanks @Peersy for the idea Based on Red23 Racings Retro Livery Round livery driven by Will and Alex Davison at Sandown in 2019.
Also would like to thank Naacs for putting some of the decals together very quickly for ones I was missing. Much appreciate your help
From what I can remember I think SVG collapsed after the race due to cramps caused by braking issues & high temp in the cabin. It's incredible how he almost got 3rd after battling with all those issues. I still get goosebumps watching the onboard finish. Quote from Speedcafe A hard charge from seventh to fourth saw SVG forced to use both feet to create enough pressure on the brakes to drive the car to the limit, due to a braking issue the team had been fighting all weekend. "To get the performance I had to use two feet pushing as hard as I could as something was just not been right with the brakes all weekend. “I just started cramping. Just the brake pressure, just the cramp in my legs. I’ve never, ever driven a car where the brakes are that bad. So It was tough."
Yep, he sure did. It was amazing how someone could do that in such close quarter racing and not crash. That’s why he is who he is i guess. Total RESPECT.
Hi Viper, Sorry for that I must've mis-read the vehicles selected in room 2 already. So I just need to select a car not already selected in room 2? IRT qualifying, can I book in for tonight at 8pm please? Cheers.
Another fun fact I'm in this video standing in the back of the EBM garage when Campbell makes the winning pass
That's right mate, I think from the cars you've listed, The Mustang is the only one we have BOPed and not in room 2. Also 8pm tonight sounds good!
The year of the Enforcer...... 2005 was a standout year for Russell Ingall who beat out reigning champion Marcos Ambrose to a maiden championship. CurvingTexas will be hoping to replicate Ingall's famous championship celebrations at the conclusion of the 2 Hour race on sunday night!
Just a bit of feedback from the first two days of qualifying Please please when you are present in an Official Qualifying lobby, Do not use game chat! People are trying to set laps and game chat can be very disturbing at full focus. On another note, The plan for a Top 5 Shootout Saturday night is still in full motion. Please if possible, keep your schedules clear. I will be sending out inboxs on Thursday night to confirm that people are available for the session. Thanks
Room 3 - A special Gibson Motorsport entry in the theme of Craig Lowndes' iconic GREEN EYED MONSTER as infamously raced by Lowndes & Crompton at Bathurst in 2001.
@Viperzed Sorry about this, but is it alright if I can qualify at 8:45 tonight? Forgot the Supercars E series was on tonight, want to watch as much as I can.
