    @Viperzed
I’m a bit confused now as to how we get to an equilibrium. The statement made early was that times should be around the high to medium 1.59s with the odd people managing some 1.58s. So in our room this was achieved by the top 4 with a few more just off the pace with low 2.00 times. Bringing the slower cars up to the faster times would make sense to me to even out the field so all the hours on hours of practice, testing and tuning adjustments wouldn’t have been wasted by the people who put the effort in. All the tyre testing and fuel calculations have now gone out the window for those people because everything is now heavier and all the handling and tyre wear dynamics have changed. By bringing the slower cars closer to the faster cars all of their tyre and fuel characteristics would just improve with minimal detriment to their current set ups.
I qualified with a 1.59.501 (somehow) and did an 11 lap test today with my added 3% weight and best i could get was 2.00.395 which would have qualified me in 8th position in our room3. With the 2% weight reductions given to others as an example i have seen a complete flip from the original times of my 1.59.501 v 2.00.4.. to my time now of 2.00.395 v 1.59.632 from a 2% reduction for them. Taking into account my 1.59.501 and their 1.59.632 are our freaky best laps there is now a .7 disparity in the opposite direction. You could probably average that out and say roughly .4 nearly 1/2 a sec per lap (not naming people as its the numbers that are important here)
I believe +1% to me and Disco, maybe 2% for me at a stretch and 3% for Extreme and 5% for Rolls, leaving the reductions as they are will bring the field closer together and reduce the cross over disparity
Not trying to tell you what to do, these are my, I believe constructive opinions only
Between SCNG tonight, Shootout Saturday and 2hr on Sunday, I am as i am sure are others, time poor and will have to go with what i have.
    Cheers, Beats

    Hi Beats,

I can't thank you enough for putting in the effort with other Room 3 drivers to test these BOP changes within 18 hours of them occuring. Obviously this is something I can't properly test myself first hand and have to go off what weight additions and reductions do to my own pace.

I believe no one knows better than those who are genuinely racing in the room in question and I will take your comments into consideration.

Adjusted Ballast post quali for Room 3 will be as follows:

    rollscanhardly +5 weight
    Xtr3meNZer +3 weight
    Beats143 +1 Weight
    Disco_Stew +1 Weight
    Peersy -1 Weight
    RPeeM808 -1 Weight
    Rae1982 -1 Weight
    jm_Wags -2 Weight
    Dybo -3 Weight
    SirDids72 -4 Weight
    Tube-nvNZ -6 Weight
    Easyprey007 *pending a position -8 Weight

These changes have been reflected in the OP

Thank you @Beats143 for that testing and well put together comment. It's awesome that you've taken the time out of your own life to do something that will benefit others. Thank you.

Also Thank you to @Viperzed for taking the ideas and running with it. I honestly hadn't had too much thought about how it would affect the car tune, tyres and fuel consumption throughout the race with the extra weight (I mainly run BOP races with no tuning, so it's not something that I even crossed my mind).

There's a lot it can alter unfortunately and BOPing for race is the hardest thing a man can do so information like what Beats has given me is more valuable than gold

Thanks for accommodating me @Viperzed. While I didn't get to qualify, the best I've done in practice has been 2.02.5. Not sure if this will make any difference to my weight, but thought I'd put it up there in case it does :D

@Viperzed It's a manual rolling start? Can you explain for me how this works or will there be a briefing to explain before the race?

There will be a briefing posted on the day, It'll be very similar to how we ran the Interlagos start if you want to dig that up

I'd suggest finding a bit through tuning, I can probably pass on something to help. 2:03s aren't far off
