    Rules & Regulations
These can be found in a PDF file on our Discord under the channel: #rules-and-regulations-document
The document incorporates the rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines of RaceOnOz collated for the PC ACC and PS ACC league.

    Track Limits
ACC in-game track limits and penalties system will be utilised by all ACC leagues. In-game penalties that are applied by ACC within any official session of an event will not be overridden, deleted or otherwise amended except at the discretion of the Admin team.
    Race Start - Amended
The Kunos start system isn't perfect and still allows cars to be a fair way out of place by the time the lights go green so we will continue to review starts as a matter of procedure. We will issue warnings or penalties to drivers that we believe are gaining an unfair advantage or causing a disadvantage to other drivers by being out of position.
    • Please respect other drivers and stay in your grid position
    • Do not stay 'ghosted' within any other car especially in the final phase of the formation lap
    • It is not acceptable to take another car's position before the start
    • If ACC fails to give a penalty for being out of position then the Admin team will issue a post race penalty
    • Driver's need to be side by side with their row partner and must maintain a reasonable gap to the cars ahead prior to the lights going green
    • Drivers should stop all weaving and brake warming as soon as the double file segment begins
    • Penalties WILL NOT BE CLEARED even if it seems to be a glitch - just take more care!
    Lap 1
    • Take extra care when the lights go green as all cars will be in a tight, accelerating pack
    • Expect cars to be much closer to you and varying in speed due to all the others around so try to leave a tad more space.
    • Assume there are cars in your blind spots and on the other side of visible cars until the pack spreads out more.
    • Wait until the GREEN light disappears and the proximity indicator is shown before deciding to change direction.
    • Avoid sudden direction changes unless you are sure you are well clear.
    • In braking zones, you must brake SIGNIFICANTLY earlier than you would in general racing.
    • if on a straight section don't drift - stay straight.
    • Approach each situation with caution but execute your driving with intelligence.
    Blue Flags
When a driver receives a notification of a blue flag, it means that they are being approached by a car that has completed a greater number of laps. The blue flag will be shown when the lead car is within 1 second of the lapped car. The lapped car must do the following:
    • Not attempt to race the lead car by attempting to defend their position.
    • Move out of the way and concede track position within a reasonable timeframe (within four corners is considered reasonable) after the initial blue flag or when safe to do so.
    • Concede track position in a safe manner to avoid impeding the lead car.
    • Do not make drastic change of direction, change of speed or brake suddenly while in front of the lead car.
    • Move out of the way on a straight or well before the braking zone.
If a lapped car has the speed to pull away from and not impede the lead car, then the lapped car has one lap to pull out of blue flag range.
    Disconnections & Restart - Amended
    • If a server disconnects during a practice or qualifying session, it will be restarted with the remaining time.
    • If a driver disconnects during practice or qualifying, then they can re-enter the server.
    • If a driver disconnects after qualifying or during the race, the server will not be restarted.
    • If a server disconnects during a race, it will be restarted with the remaining race time. Restart positions will be set as they were prior to the disconnection regardless of who completed pitstops. Pitstop requirements will be set to 1 if longer than half race distance, no pitstop is required if less than half the race distance remains.
    Protest Procedure
If a driver wishes to submit a protest the following procedure is to be followed:
    • Go to discord channel #submit-protest under the PROTEST & PENALTY category. This will create a new channel specifically for that protest. A moderator will rename the protest.
    • The protesting driver will submit their protest in the format described in the newly created channel. The video evidence will be in the format stated in the paragraph below. This driver will then be removed from the channel.
    • The driver being protested will be added to the channel to see the footage and provide a defence. This driver will then be removed from the channel.
    • The stewards will determine who is at fault, the severity of any contact and the severity of any damage/outcome.
    • The stewards will determine the penalty to be issued.
    • Both drivers will be notified of the outcome.
    • The outcome will be posted to the forum.
