Hi all, this is a simple EOI to see if the market is still around for endurance racing on GT7! I've long waited for the return of the famed '2 hour events' that gave us so much fun in the late stages of GT Sport. Currently we would be interested in hosting multiple one off endurance events on GT7 utilising in game BOP at Japanese circuits with random weather enabled. These one off events would be scheduled between seasons and current ACC endurance events. Cars would run base BOP and base tuning due to an apparent bug in the tuning options. This would take us back to the OG 2 hour events like Interlagos, RBR and Nordschleiffe. Races would be run on RS tires, at a low tire wear rare, with a low fuel wear rate and moderate refuel rate to ensure people aren't fuel saving for entire stints. My first question to everyone is, would we be willing to run an "honour system" BOP in order for all cars/drivers to have a better chance of winning, like what we ran on GT Sport? Currently we would be stuck running all cars at BOP with no possibility for removed weight depending on driver class. The honour system would mean that I would do all the necessary testing to equalise cars, but I would have to trust every single driver to ensure they run the base setup and the power/weight that is set for them. I will keep this thread open for feedback in terms of what would work around what the game currently allows us to do, and what you'd all like to see! Agreed! I was a huge fan of the handicapping system, Some super close results back in the day. I'll likely run a manu championship over the few rounds so will ask drivers to pair up before we select cars (once I push this past EOI). Idea will be to have 7 manufacturers on circuit, running 2 cars each to ensure lots of variety!
