Hey, not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I figured since according to @Footlong_warrior, "ROOZ will last for another 50 years," I thought it may be good to award active members based on their time here with gems, or materials. E.g, Copper for one year, bronze for 2, silver for 3, etc. Or something similar. What are your thoughts on this?
Sorry mate, missed this earlier in the week...... Um, sounds like an idea, i think it would have to be automatically awarded based on length of membership.....probably something you need to run past Justin to see how easy he can implement it, based on space in peoples avatar size etc...
If its going to be 50 years - I reckon you would have to start with Paper for the 1st year - I think that is how it works with Wedding anniversaries. I believe after 50 years it gets to Diamond. I should have expired I reckon after my Polystyrene loyalty award.
Maybe this could be tied in with the trophy points. Currently these are: 1 First Message Post a message somewhere on the site to receive this. 2 Somebody Likes You Somebody out there liked one of your messages. Keep posting like that for more! 5 Keeps Coming Back 30 messages posted. You must like it here! 10 Can't Stop! You've posted 100 messages. I hope this took you more than a day! 10 I Like It a Lot Your messages have been liked 25 times. 15 Seriously Likeable! Content you have posted has attracted 100 likes. 20 Addicted 1,000 messages? Impressive! 20 Can't Get Enough of Your Stuff Your content has been liked 250 times. 30 I LOVE IT! Content you have posted has attracted 500 likes. What if this was extended to: 40 2,000 messages 40 1000 likes 50 3,000 messages 50 2000 likes 60 4,000 messages 60 3000 likes 70 5,000 messages 70 4000 likes 80 6,000 messages 80 5000 likes etc (could go up to 9000 messages since Stu has the most just over 8000 and up to 5000 likes as I am currently just over 4000) With regards to little icons in the avatar, how about something every 50 trophy points? With the total number of points available from all I have listed being 713, that would equate to 14 different icons My suggestions are: gears spark plug H-pattern outline double checquered flags trophy wreath brake disc speedometre cone stop watch fire extinguisher spanner screwdriver steering wheel @Juzzo how easy/hard is that to implement? Also here is a horribly done example I mocked up in paint
