All of em Get any cheap usb keyboard. Plug into ps4. Bind controls to keyboard inputs. Viola, you have a button box.
That sounds too easy, I've got a spare PS move nav controller that I'm going to mod and use on my (still in planning stages) cockpit
Am I watching Men in Black or Daylight? SMS pushed the button today. The one that starts paying WMD members! They've also teamed up with ESL as an eSport.
About the eSports one. I hope they are actual racing events / tournaments. Rather than glorified time trials. Anyone can set a fast lap. It takes a lot more degree of skill to be a consistent fast driver with high level race craft. I would love to watch the top Project CARS drivers race! Would be intense.
(Holding thumb and index finger 2mm apart) It's about this close to being just about the best driving sim so far.
Seems like the updates they throw out are pretty extensive.....i think i saw they have an option now for "non tune" like GT6 ? Would be interesting to know what that is like, and what the base line settings are like.
Well it doesn't actually work..... Ontop of that due to the complexity of the physics engine, default setups will never be enjoyable as you have to at the very least adjust tyre pressures to suit track and weather conditions.
gt6 no tuning still allows changing the brake bias...so maybe in future the pcars no tuning might allow tyre pressure changes or whatever
Some good news for console players! Tim has been in discussions/negations with Sony and Microsoft and has got the OK to enable the broadcasting of Shared Memory across the local network, possibly a first (at least in the racing genre). This will enable those mobile dashboard apps, etc. One new app that's still WIP but possibly worth a look if you're on PC is the Crew Chief alternative. It uses shared memory data to tell you various things at the push of a button, and even features some speech recognition so that you can ask what the gap to the next car is.
