Hi All, Bones (Bonus888) was talkin to me yesterday about moving my brake pedal plate to the left away from the throttle etc so I have a bit more room for heal/toe. Well although it's prob mentioned on here somewhere in a non related thread I couldn't find anything about it so thought maybe we need a thread specifically just for Race Wheel and Pedal Modifications (rather than trolling through many personal ones) so share ANY idea's for mods & setup's we come accross that may help out or fellow rooz and any newbies in the future rather than having to spend many hours scrolling through crap etc on many sites when we/they could be spending that time racing

To Kick it of I just just seen this pedal mod on Youtube - How to reverse mount Logitech G25 / G27 pedals

Might be a thought for the coffin Clevo?

Also (for those that havn't seen it) see this one from Beau about his shifter - http://raceonoz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2899

    Cheers!

VERY Cheap Logitech G27 BRAKE PEDAL MOD - Just make sure you get the correct thread type

Cheap Logitech G27 BRAKE PEDAL MOD -
Serriously! $20-30 for a friggin spring! most industrial areas have Nut, Bolt, Washer, Spring Specialists that carry rare stuff you can't get from Bunnings, if you live in a small town see the closest car wreakers or pannel beaters etc, shouldn't cost anymore than $10 for both. You could also stiff'n the throtle up a bit I recon

I will probably move/adjust my pedal plates, but will hold off on opening them up and inverting etc.. until I am outside of my warranty period ;)

Second time I've heard someone say that, have people had issues with these wheels to require warranty? if so what should I look out for?

I have about 20cm loose center play before I feel any tension which I think is a bit slack compared to my old ms sidewinder but is that just the way they are? i.e. when going down a straight it's a bastard to keep a straight line?

Sounds more like a setting you have wrong in iRacing. I'm only presuming you are talking about iRacing Col.

Nah mate, just being cautious, Logitech have some of the best support around.

GT5 if you let go of the wheel it will knock back and forth, as it has no dead spot.

And with iRacing, get bones to go through setup with you like he did me.

    GTEYE REPLACEMENT BRAKE SPRING

Hi Guys,i've just bought the Australian Owned, designed and made replacement brake spring for the G25-27 pedals ,and i can't say enough good things about it.It is the best brake pedal mod i've come across. It's made from heavier gauge wire, and is progressional!!! It's MUCH stiffer than standard & as you compress it,it gets firmer, just like a real pedal!!!! I've tried 90% of the modifications on YouTube,& besides buying hydraulic load cell sensor mod units, etc($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) nothing beats it for function & bang for buck!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
It's $29.95 delivered to your door(1-3 days in Oz) I ordered mine on their site,w/paypal,on friday 6/9 & got it mon 9/9! When you compare the two next to each other, the original looks so cheap and nasty! All i can say is it has virtually eliminated lock-ups for me to the point i'm starting to practice with no ABS now!!!! If you lockup regularly,it's your answer to the problem with very little practice! InSimRacing gave it a 9/10 rating in their review,so you can see it's a genuine fix,not a gimmick! check it out on YouTube.
