Ok, guys,

Nearly have everything in place for this weekends first round at Grand valley.

As per usual, we will have a 10 min qualifying at 8pm EDST (Sydney time), with the race to start as close to 8:10 PM as we can. This may be changed slightly for the enduro to an earlier time if it suits. If you can be in the host lobby by 7:45 EDST it goes a long way to sorting any issues and starting on time.

LOBBY HOST WILL BE CONFIRMED TODAY :

NOTE : With the large lobby sizes this season, if there is a clear issue with drivers being DSCD, unable to get into the lobbies and drivers not seen by others we MAY look to adjust the room sizes and divisions, and replay round 1. We will just have to see what happens.

Also a reminder of our 3 most important rules and regs

1. All drivers must keep 2 wheels on at least the ripple strips at all times. some of the tracks have concrete runoff that can be used as track for an advantage, so we use this rule to stop any advantage being gained. We do accept that sometimes mistakes are made, so if you do it a couple of times its no issue, but if it is a regular line taken, and there is an advantage gained we generally add a penalty in the form of a drive through added after the race. In our 13 seasons i think we have only had to penalize 2 drivers for this, and both were unaware of the rule !

2. Contact with other drivers. like real racing, if you make contact with another car or driver on the track, there will be a penalty if you don't redress and you are the cause of the accident. Best example would be if you rear end someone, and force them off line, then pass because of that you could be penalized post race with a drive through time penalty added to your race time. If you have the line you are entitled to keep it !

3. No swerving on the straights, you can change direction once, but then hold that position till the corner entry. If you are the car in front you may take your preferred line.

66, not sure what to call the colour of my beast, whitish?? The 8pm start time will be fine this week, but would like to go back to 8.30 next week if that's possible. Any problems?? For us QLD'ers with a family, to be on at 6.45pm is often impossible.

Have adjusted the times and sent message to all drivers.....
