Hey everyone, the team at Track Stars Racing Series are organising a Bathurst 1000 event for the weekend of the 4th of October. We already have a handful of cars signed up so the race will definitely go ahead but we'd like to extend an invitation to any drivers in the RaceOnOz community to also join us for this Special One-off event.

Following a few months of behind the scenes planning and testing, the Track Stars Racing Series is keen to unveil our upcoming special event, the 2020 Track Stars Bathurst 1000, set to take place from October 1-4. The Bathurst 1000 will see the return of the highly popular Group 2 cars that have been raced in the Track Stars Touring Car Championship in the last 3 years for the standalone event that will see teams of 2-3 drivers aim to conquer the unforgiving mountain and the competition and become winners of The Great Race.
    Cars
The following cars are eligible to be used in the race:

    Honda Raybrig NSX Concept-GT '16
    Power: 603hp
    Weight: 1049kg

    Lexus au TOM's RC F '16
    Power: 614hp
    Weight: 1020kg

    Nissan Motul Autech GT-R '16
    Power: 612hp
    Weight: 1020kg

Note: The listed power and weights are based off the in-game BoP. Adjustments may be made if through further testing we find one car is significantly faster or slower than the other cars.

    Tyres
All cars must run the Dunlop Dirrezza tyre branding.
Mandatory tyres for the race will be the Racing: Medium tyres. No other compound of Tyre will be permitted to be used

Done a few races at Bathurst in these cars over the past few years and it’s been quite enjoyable amongst all of us that raced, especially when we had a full grid earlier this year. I think it’ll definitely be a big challenge for a lot of us that race, but hopefully a rewarding and fun challenge! I just hope a few members on here a willing to take up the challenge and maybe show us Track Stars Racers how it’s done ;)

Man, if I wasn't committed to another Bathurst event, I'd probably get into this...

edit: Oh wait - I have no one I can swap out with lol. Ah well! Good luck to you guys!

You have someone on the West Coast of the South Island NZ wanting to race?
(edit: just realised you have the option for network team mates, though I don't know how that works in GT Sport lol)

Lol, maybe next time, as I said I already have commitments to a Bathurst race this year anyways. I like the format that you have though!

You can team with anyone regardless of their location and do driver swaps by jumping in and out of the room as the race will be run in Free run mode.

If it’s not on the same day there’s definitely room to race both ;)
