I have the 1TB WD Black SN850, came with heatsink, read speed came in at a touch over 6500, forgot how much i paid for it.
I picked up a Sabrent with their specific PS5 heatsink, does the trick. 1TB is decent size on PS5 given their Kracken compression on storage.
no that won't work, not because of speed but because it's a gen3 SSD, need gen4 SSD for ps5. For a cheap/budget one, get one of these: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0B217LZBG https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09QV692XY Also Sony's 5.5gb/s read speed is a recommendation, not a requirement.
season 5(0) might be the longest combined lap time of all seasons. there are some long tracks this season.
Had a blinder last night on Manufacturer's Cup at the Nurb. First race at 8pm was carnage, lots of loose units out and about, but 9pm race - Probably my best world series race to date. Qualified 1st, made a slight misstep on a wet-tish lap 1, fell down to second. End of lap 2, the monsoon appeared to be arriving. I pitted for inters and saw a few guys continuing on their slicks - Big mistake. Had a slow, but incident free final, rain soaked lap to finish second place.
Yeah, I gave it a quick go last night and was like "nope". Will need to come back to this one and give it some time and patience.
I got me a ssd. I can take part next season. I've been enjoying Daily Race B on GT Sport and GT7. Got a couple of wins on GT Sport. Big Willow GR3's. A couple of top 5 and one 2nd place today on GT7. Laguna Seca
I'm also in a separate casual midweek (Wednesdays @ 8pm AEST) league which is starting next Wednesday 5th July if anyone's interested. It's GT3 German touring cars (M6, AMG and 911 RSR). Message PSN: S1CKO666 if you want to join up. 15mins quali, 30mins race. 4x fuel, 7x tyres, BoP. Mediums and softs mandatory.
