I don't mind this idea either. what are others thoughts on an extra sprint round while keeping the enduro?
Maybe it was the low Div 1 grid size for the Seaside enduro last season, but I remember thinking that there was nothing about that race that was enhanced by it being 90 minutes instead of 45. Apart from kerb glitches which are for the most part random, anyone in Div 1 who pulls a 5 second lead in 10 laps on pace will most likely win by 25-30 seconds, 75 minutes later. Driving an entire enduro without ever being near another car on track can be a bit dull. A separate point is that, in dry races at least, everyone ends up running pretty much the same strategy, unless there are regulations for the enduro to promote something different, like another mandatory tyre to use, or people being able to qualify on their starting tyre, it is essentially just a regular race but double. My suggestions if we stick with enduros: 1. We pick a race that has variable weather 2. Maybe introduce another tyre compound for that race (if mandatory this can be enforced by lobby settings I think) 3. For the season we could allow people to start the race on the compound of tyre they qualify on (we did this for GTS Season 15)
