Broke into the 2:27's with the Skip Barber at Suzuka today with a 2:27.555. That's not a super lap time, but it was a scrappy as hell lap, so I thought it was worthy of a video. My previous best was a 2:28.0. Slowly getting the hang of driving this thing. It takes allot of commitment and aggression, but at the same time, it takes finesse. Yeah the skip is worth having, lots of good competitive racers. Arggh I did a v8 race late last night, some guy who was super fast haddnt set a quali time so whilst he was making his way through the field he touched me twice in 3 corners both times were super light touches but resulted in a 4x each. Then there was some guy who had a chip on his shoulder because of something someone else did to him. He was 15laps down and came back out on track and threw it into the wall to make his car a bit more broken. Then he was driving his car round the track very slowly. I had been closing on the guy in front of me for most of the race and I just happened to be very close to him with 5 laps to go as we approached this broken car and another guy on the fastest straight. So the guy I was chasing and I try to negotiate these ultra slow cars without hitting them. I think I'm past them and jump on the throttle a bit to hard which slid my car a little to the right, the broken car is crabbing to the left and we just touch which puts me into the wall. Ruined my race. So I had 3 4x incidents, none of which were my fault. I think I also had an offtrack with my car after the incident. So disappointing to cop so much SR damage for incidents that shouldn't have happened. Might have to stick to the skip where people are more careful because any touch can mean a broken car. That said I had a guy run into the back of me when I was braking to avoid a guy spinning. In my v8 race I saw Rob Racer, so he has bought some extra content!
Haha yes, I had a v8 win last night. Rob racer was in there.....lapped him, lol. It was good for my IR anyway, seeing as his is 3000+ I think.

Yea mate a few of us are giving the Legends a crack. Check out the photos thread. Plus Mad94d arranges the occasional hosted session for chucking these badboys around a road course. I'm yet to get in on that but really looking forward to the next one! Skippy is definitely worth getting IMO.

Nice. Well done getting that run on Muggleton after he was squirly out of the hairpin. There's a great view of that in the replay. Did you end up with damage after rear ending that spinning car?.. shame you were pipped for position on the final bend. Still a great result though. Well done Beau. Heaps more people having offs than I would expect! All that action is getting me amped to get involved.
