    Awesome.
I was going to get the t500. Heard they are pretty darn good.

Amazon not only sell to aus, in some cases they've gotten stuff to me quicker than aus based company.

I ordered it on Tuesday and they attempted delivery to my house on the Friday. Express shipping was $25 vs $15 for slow shipping. Amazing deal I think.

Now i have a spare set of pedals i;m not going to use, and apparently you can't just plug and play it with a non t500 wheel.

It depends, some things they do, some they don't. You just need to try. Sometimes the shipping is cheap, sometimes it's crazy, depending on who is sending it. The wheel I got was direct from amazon, I expect if it was someone else selling through amazon the shipping would be a lot higher.

How did you go with the power adaptor? Did you have to buy a US to AUS power socket and no issues with it running on 240v? I see they are still only 400 now which is a good 200 less than anything I can find here.

The power pack (like most modern transformers) supports 100-250v. Fortunately the plug from the wall to the transformer is simply a kettle plug, so I just swapped out the provided one, with a spare one I had from an old computer.

My fastest lap so far this week at Oran Park in the V8. Pretty clean lap, didn't leave too much on the table. Overall, really happy with it. Never got around to do doing a track guide this week, so a hotlap will have to do.

Hey thanks Mad, looked so smooooth great lap. You liking the car since the update? I think it makes for some more battle racing being able to save it a lot easier after some slight bumpy action or a trip to the grass edge. Any set up tips be handy, you still using the super low caster or you think we can raise it a bit. We seem to be getting a stable set up thats still fast at 14 caster, the soft rear help too.

Thanks for the clip we appreciate it and got a few newbies to Iracing that will benefit from it, good luck this week keep up that winning streak.

I love the car since the update, so much better feel and controllable. Not so unrealistic and pointy. Racing so far seems to be better with the physics change but there also seems to be a lack of tyre degredation which is a shame.

Set up changes that i've found useful this season is to soften the back up. So soften rear springs (2-3 clicks down on last season) and rear anti roll bar size waaaaaaaaaay down, very soft tends to work well so far. High rake is still an advantage and same with the lowest caster, that is just a given week in week out. Low camber still seems to work too, but at least the softer rear end is finally a bit more realistic....

Car feels like it has no grip trust me! Just gotta be really patient with your inputs and not rush. At Oran Park it's easy to overdrive, gotta make sure you don't do that. Looking at that lap on youtube, it looks easy, I guarantee from where I was sitting it wasn't. Car felt on edge the whole time and I had to drive it very very smooth to get that lap. Biggest thing to remember, making apexes is an absolute must. So make sure you don't outbrake yourself, if you miss the apex not only are you likely to lock a brake and run wide, you will get a crap exit and lose even more time.

Cheers Mad. Been working a few different directions on setup for Zandvoort and will keep your tips in mind.

I found its *almost* '6 of one, half a dozen of the other' on caster setting.... maybe a touch slower with high and perhaps more tyre scrub and hence wear. Certainly on a tight track with lots of heavy brake/accel zones like Zands-Int anyway. Been softening the back (and tightening the front for Zands Int). Softened the rear sway a bit (set-point #2, maybe ~20mm) but perhaps not enough reading your thoughts...

Got a 1:12.9xx in my test session yesterday with an opti in the mid-low 1:12's.

Like you, I love how the car feels this season and am enthusiastic to try commit to racing a bit more regularly (looking at setting up in another room so not compromising with the missus's tv time! - good excuse for triple screens :p)
