Logitech emailed me back today and finally agreed that there was a hardware issue with my wheel. They told me to go and take my wheel back to sender, and so thats what i'll be doing tomorrow/Wednesday. Should have a replacement wheel by the end of the week! Having said that though, this whole experience has been a bit of nightmare, and it's really starting to make me consider if its worth getting a thurstmaster variant instead.

TM's aren't bullet proof either but that said, I like it a lot more than the G29'S I had.

So i took my G29 into dick smith where i brought it today, and they agreed that there is a fault with it and said they would happily replace my wheel (Good News!), until he finished the sentence and said "if we had the stock". So the guys at dick smith told me to talk to Logitech directly again, and get them to replace it for me. Must say, getting a little tiresome of this

Get onto Logitec. If you have your reciept it shouldnt take long. You might get to permanently disable your old wheel! :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:

Fortunately for me, the wheel decided to play nice the whole of last season and i ended my conversation with Logitech thinking there were no issues with it. Then last night the problem returned and its even more intermittent. Will get back onto Logitech on monday and get them to send me a new one hopefully before s4

Tire Force can be put higher for a heavier wheel

On the PS3/GT6, how much of a learning curve would there be going from a DFGT to the G29?

I went from DFGT to G27 and it was fine. Then I went to G29 and again it was fine. The only thing to get used to is the brake pedal. But you should be good to go after meet n greet
