Not a tuning star, but here's a bit of a starting point. Throw everything at it and de-tune. I stayed away from engine 3 tuning, and put mid-turbo on instead. Gave it aero and about half is pretty good, but adjust it to suit really. When you put the weight back in, I've shifted it rearwards about 10 clicks 49 - 51 split.

Tranny: I like taking final gear fully to the right, Max speed fully to the left, then setting the gears. So 1st 2.980, 2nd 2.262, 3rd 1.817, 4th 1.492, 5th 1.272, 6th 1.107. Then wind back final gear to 3.517. Should give you max speed of 270. Need to toy with it a bit to fully conquer the second last corner.

    Diff - 25, 45, 18 - This needs work.

    Camber - 2.4, 1.8
    Toe - -0.10, +0.01
    Ride Ht - 0, -3
    Spring - 7.4, 5.5
    Ext - 6, 5
    Com - 6, 5
    ARB - 3, 3

Suspension settings were there when I started... not sure where I got them from originally, but cbf changing them just yet. Turned some pretty nice laps, but touch a wall and it's lap ruined. Got into the mid 1:51.xxx's with this set up. If you're lost, just get the car built, get a tranny tune that suits the track, then try and figure out where the car needs work. I am happy with my rear atm, but just need more bite up front.

    Anyone else got anything?

Some changes I've made to the tune:

And my best time to date:

Hope this helps people get started. I still have some under steer issues but the talent issues seem to be a bigger problem.

The car being used in this competition is the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) 02. This car can be purchased from the new car dealership.

For those using my tune, or at least playing around with it. I have found no great benefit or handicap with increasing the aero. I ran that time with it at 17, but have run the same time with it at 25. For some reason full aero seems like there is too much grip at the rear and it pushes the front end.

For those who want to see some laps, the qual sessions from last night will be available at http://www.justin.tv/cjianon666/videos. The second from top video has Nugget, watch him to understand sectors 1 and 2. You can also ride on board with me, but only watch lap 3...nuff said. Man those walls, those walls!!!
