Season 6, Rnd 4

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turns 2 & 3.

No penalties are being issued in respect of this incident, and it has been adjudged a racing incident. The incident commenced at turn 2 when car #22 and car #56 made minor wheel-to-wheel contact while alongside each other. Car #56 then lost control and multiple following cars were caught up in the incident. The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs.

No driver was wholly or predominantly responsible for this incident however we would like to remind all drivers of the importance of taking extra care during the start and early phase of the first lap. Also drivers must always take into account the possible variability of network conditions which can cause unexpected changes in the position of nearby cars. Additionally we urge all drivers to read the GENERAL NOTES for each round which include information on "Avoiding pre-start and Lap 1 Carnage!"

Season 6, Rnd 4

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 7 at turn 5 between car #22 and car #555

No penalty has been issued in respect of this incident, and it has been adjudged a racing incident with the primary cause being a small amount of network "rubber banding" that was evident just prior to the collision. However the stewards have issued a warning to the driver of car #22 @lukekingracing to take more care by allowing for potential network variations when driving close to other cars.

Season 6, Rnd 4

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 13 at turn 1 between car #68 and car #2

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #68 @MatthewMarshHK is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, failing to redress, 1st offence.

This penalty does not alter the finishing order of the race.

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turn 14 between car #22 and car #680

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #22 @lukekingracing is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, failing to redress, 1st offence.

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turn 1 between car #56 and car #920

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #56 @MusicRacer is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, failing to redress, 1st offence.

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turn 4 between car #56 and car #555

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #56 @MusicRacer is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 30sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, failing to redress, 2nd offence.

This penalty will be applied to the race results soon.

Season 7, Rnd 1

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turn 1 between car *#556 and car #888. The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs. It was noted that any attempt to redress would not be possible in the particular circumstances and aftermath of the incident.

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #556 @Glenn Stimson is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, 1st offence.

This penalty will be applied to the race results soon.

*car #556 is entered under #555 and will revert to that number for the rest of the season

Season 7, Rnd 1

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at turn 2 between car #44 and car #888. The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs.

No penalty has been issued in respect of this incident, and it has been adjudged a racing incident as no driver was wholly or predominantly responsible for this incident. Both cars were recovering from the T1 multi car incident with a reasonable difference in speed both to each other and to other nearby cars.

However the stewards have determined that Car #44 (Robert Fluke) is to receive the following warning for this incident:

• WARNING - Take more care to avoid contact and allow more room when driving close to other cars.

Season 7, Rnd 2

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 between turns 4 & 5 involving car #61 @Paulfaus and car #678 @AbleArcher83. The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs.

No penalty has been issued in respect of this incident, and it has been adjudged a racing incident as no driver was wholly or predominantly responsible for this incident. Both cars drifted toward each despite having plenty space to avoid contact.

However the stewards have determined that both drivers (P. Freeland, A. Archer) are to receive the following warning for this incident:

• WARNING - Take more care to avoid contact and allow more room when driving close to other cars.

Season 7, Rnd 2

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 between turns 6 & 7 involving car #61 @Paulfaus and car #188 @Kart-No-1. The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs.

Circumstances of note:

• Exiting T6 #61 slowly drifts across track from right to left but then brakes extremely early - well before the start of the T7 braking zone
• #188 is close behind #61 and keeping a safe offset to the left however has no warning when #61 brakes early and so cannot avoid contact

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #61 @Paulfaus is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, 1st offence, (redress not relevant due to already falling behind the other car)

Season 7, Rnd 3

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 at T1 involving car #19 P. Hatfield, car #20 M. Western and car #56 A. Rice. Secondary cars affected were car #111 C. Hildebrandt, car #123 A. Gallagher and car #84 U. Saturn.

The stewards have reviewed this incident from multiple driver perspectives, and various other camera views, and taken into account driver control inputs.

No penalty has been issued in respect of this incident, and it has been adjudged a racing incident as no driver was wholly or predominantly responsible for this incident.

However the stewards have issued the following warnings in respect of this incident:

• Minor Warning to P. Hatfield and A. Rice - allow extra room for unseen cars in the first few corners after the start.
• WARNING to P. Hatfield - hold the brake in a spin to minimise risk to cars behind.

Season 7, Rnd 3

The stewards have reviewed an incident that occurred on Lap 1 exiting turn 5 involving car #17 P. Wall and car #505 A. Oldman. Secondary cars affected were car #72 Rh. Penfold, car #77 C. Dominiak, car #97 W. Masterson and car #678 A. AbleArcher83.

The stewards have determined that the driver of car #17 P. Wall is to receive the following penalty for this incident:

• 15sec time penalty - Causing an avoidable collision, 1st offence, attempt to redress considered sufficient.
