Season 2 - Round 2 - Hungaroring - 10/11/20 Mid Point in the Season. Been great racing so far, More to come!!! Server will open at 8:00pm ADST (SYDNEY Time) Server 1 - Rooz ACC PRO Server - Password: Rooz - Captain: JJ_Penguin Server 2 - Rooz ACC AM Server - Password: Rooz - Captain: TBA Lap 1 This track has one of the shortest runs to the start line. Be mindful that tyres will be cold heading into the heavy braking zone at T1. Give room and stay in your lane. Each car seems to have a different approach to finding speed. be mindful that the car you are following may not be as quick as you through a certain section of the track or need to brake earlier. Pitstops Check that you have selected a fresh set of tyres before the session begins, especially if you are loading a setup. Make sure that a fresh set is also selected for your pitstop. This season requires 2 mandatory pitstops for tyres. Pit Exit Drivers must NOT cross the pit exit line when re-entering the track. This is new for this season. Track Limits Track limits and breaches will be a big issue in this race and may impact the result. Care needs to be taken on the exit of most corners as it is easy run wide and over the outside ripple strip. Particularly at T3, T4, T11 & T12. Replays & Protests Drivers must assign a button for 'Save Replay'. The game only records 3 - 4 mins. If you are involved in an incident, saving the replay will be critical for any protests. Press the Save Replay Button 30 - 40 secs after the incident to ensure the moment is recorded. Party Chat Party Chat will be setup for both Servers. I suggest joining the chat for practice, then you can choose to leave or start your own, that is up to you. But try to join the server chat at the end of the race. Extra caution is need for the braking zone for Turn 1 & 2 then again at Curva Del Rio. Give plenty of room and 'stay in your lane' through the first lap. Be respectful and give room. Pit exit is on the racing line for Variante Del Parco (Turn 3). In qualifying, be cautios of cars already on track and do not impede. During a race, get up to speed at quickly as possible and stay on the racing line. Cars already on track need to be wary of cars exiting pits and avoid contact where possible. Track Limits There are a couple of critical points that may catch people out, especially in qualifying. The outside of Turn 3, 5, and 7 can catch you out if you carry too much speed. Curvone can be tricky and the car gets loose on exit. The Last 2 turns can all catch you out exit if you get a bit too greedy with track limits. Rule Clarification - Blue Flag Procedure The Following rule is from the Rooz Rulebook and will be administered in ACC. Breaches will incur penalties if deemed necessary by stewards. (ix) If you are being lapped do not attempt to race the passing car. Blue flag rules apply. Meaning you must concede track position to drivers on the lead lap within a reasonable time frame. If you are battling for position with another driver some concession can be made, but at your next available opportunity (such as before the braking zone on a straight), you should concede track position. A rule of thumb for a reasonable time frame is within four corners, unless you can pull away (out of slip stream range) during this time due to fresher tyres for example.

Formation Lap There has been some issues with the server that has been caused by the Long Formation lap. This will be tested again prior to the race. If the issue is not resolved we will revert to the Short Formation lap. This may mean that Demo1 will miss the race start. In the event that the server issue does happen, we will restart with 10 min practice to allow people to get into the server, then 75 min race. There will be a short formation lap then we will form up on the 1st lap in Qualifying order. The pole car will have control of the field and can start the race anywhere after the Dunlop bridge before Murrays Corner. AM server will be set to Short Formation Lap. Lap 1 Tyre will be cold for the majority of the first lap. Extra caution is need for the braking zone for Hell Corner & Quarry Bend. I suggest trying to be single file heading into The Cutting. We don't and Ambrose/Murphy incidents with full damage and no one wants to Whincup into the wall at the cutting! Hitting the wall is a track limit breach! BLUE FLAGS Please observe blue flags, and move out of the way of faster cars if you are being lapped. Best to get off the race line, and with a small lift let them go, so you can continue the fight with those in your class. Failure to observe blue flags WILL result in a penalty. Patient will be needed when attempting to pass lapped traffic, especially from the Cutting though to Conrod Straight. Replays & Protests Drivers must assign a button for 'Save Replay'. Good luck all and hope we all have an incident and accident free race. I’d like to make a suggestion in regards to (if) your car is facing the wrong way coming down the mountain between skyline and forrest elbow, not sure if anyone else had experienced it but I have and found it really hard to get the car turned around I would suggest if anyone else agrees that it would be better to return straight to garage asap rather than try to get the car turned around and and possibly cause a bad accident?
