    Hi All
Welcome to Season 5 ACC PS4 Teams Championship

For the new Members please take a moment to read through the FULL Raceonoz Regulations

    http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/racing-rules-regulations.70/
    http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/procedure-for-post-race-complaints-or-protests.193/

For everyone have a read of the tips/tricks/fixes for pertinent information regarding entering the server, race starts and pitstops.
    https://www.raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/acc-tips-tricks-fixes.4198/

Please read through the following information. Individual track briefings will be as short as possible.

    Contact and Redressing
ACC is unforgiving and contact will result in an accident. The usual Rubbin’-is-Racin’ doesn’t apply for ACC. Contact should be avoided at all costs. If you knock another driver off track, don’t drive past them if you have caused the contact. Give the spot back, and then continue your race. The 2 most common mistakes in contact are rear end contact where you 'punt' someone off, or if you get in too hot, and make contact on the side as they take their normal line.

    Protests and Stewards
If something happens in the race that you feel is unfair or rough driving that affects you or is against the spirit of the league, please save your replay and let us know through the stewards group. Don’t crack the :):):):)s and blow up. The reason for the stewards group is to apply penalties in cases where drivers have done the wrong thing. Contact your Team Captain if you wish to make a protest.

When making a protest or appeal, you can only reference the Rooz Rules & Regulations posts and documents whose links are posted at the top of the Driver Briefing.

    Race Start Procedure
The following procedure will be used for all race start:
    • All races will have a manual double file race start.
    • Drivers must form up from the moment double file race start is announced by race engineer.
    • Drivers must maintain 70km/h from the exit of the 2nd last corner. Small increases and decreases are allowed to form the grid.
    • The Lead two drivers must travel at adequate pace for the grid to form. This will mean they need to slow down at times. Check the map
    • Drivers are not to weave or excessively increase speed once the race start is announced.
    • Drivers must be side by side with their row partner and on their side of the track.
    • Drivers must maintain a reasonable gap to the cars ahead prior to the lights going green, regardless of the speed of the cars ahead.
    • GO on the GREEN light, regardless of where on track the green light is given.
    • Race start will be saved by the commentary team.
    Disconnections
    • If a server disconnects during a practice or qualifying session, it will be restarted with the remaining time.
    • If a server disconnects during a race, it will be restarted with the remaining race time. Restart positions will be set as they were prior to the Disconnection regardless of who completed pitstops. Pitstop requirements will be set to 1 if longer than half race distance, no pitstop is required if less than half the race distance remains.
    • If a driver disconnects during practice or qualifying, then they can re-enter the server.
    • If the driver had completed qualifying, they start the race from their qualifying position. A Server restart may be required
    • If a driver disconnects from the grid or lap 1 of a race, then the race will be restarted from the qualifying positions.
    • If a driver disconnects after lap 1, then they cannot re-enter the server and will be classified as Did Not Finish (DNF).
    Pitstops
    Mandatory Pitstop: 2
    Pit Window: None
    Race refuelling: Yes
    Mandatory Tyre: No
    Mandatory Fuel: Yes

    Replays & Protests
Drivers must assign a button for 'Save Replay'. The game only records 3 - 4 mins. If you are involved in an incident, saving the replay will be critical for any protests. Press the Save Replay Button 30 - 40 secs after the incident to ensure the moment is recorded.

    Party Chat

Party Chat will be setup for both Servers. I suggest joining the chat for practice, then you can choose to leave or start your own, that is up to you. But try to join the server chat at the end of the race. Personally, I prefer to have chat off during races.

    Blue Flags
When a driver receives a notification of blue flag, it means that they are being approached by a car that has completed a greater number of laps. The blue flag will be shown when the lead car is within 2 seconds of the lapped car. The lapped car must do the following:
    • Not attempt to race the lead car
    • Move out of the way and concede track position within a reasonable timeframe (within four corners) after the initial blue flag.
    • Concede track position in a safe manner to avoid impeding the lead car.
    • Do not make drastic change of direction, change of speed or brake while in front of the lead car.
    • Move out of the way on a straight or well before the braking zone.
    • A reasonable timeframe to concede position is within four corners.
If a lapped car has the speed to pull away from and not impede the lead car, then the lapped car has one lap to pull out of blue flag range.

    Race - 60 mins- 8:50pm - 9:50pm - in-game time 9:00 - Day 2 - multiplier x 5.

    Lap 1
Lap 1 turn 1 - 3 is a hotspot for carnage as the cars bottleneck into Turn 1. Take extra caution to brake early & stay in you lane through the Turn 1 - 3.

Race start will be a long formation lap and double file race start with the UI showing. Make sure you stay side by side with your grid partner. You will need to watch the Proximity Indicator to line up with the car beside.

If a server restart is required then the formation lap will be manual without the UI.

    Pitlane
You can cross the pit exit line as long as it is safe to do so and you do not cause a collision.

    Blue Flags
A reminder of the blue flag rules. you must concede track position to drivers on the lead lap within a reasonable time frame. If you are battling for position with another driver some concession can be made, but at your next available opportunity (such as before the braking zone on a straight), you should concede track position. A rule of thumb for a reasonable time frame is within four corners.

    Protest Reporting
If you wish to protest can incident from the race then your first point of contact will be your team captain. The onus is on you to provide replay footage for the protest, make sure you have a button mapped to save replays.

    Lap 1
There were quite a few incident on Lap 1 last round. Extra care needs to be taken on lap 1, especially in wet slippery conditions. Lap 1 turn 1 & 2 is a hotspot for carnage with heavy braking zones. Take extra caution to brake early & stay in you lane through these turns.

    Race Start & Formation Lap
Race start will be a long formation lap and double file manual race start. Make sure you stay side by side with your grid partner. You will need to watch the Proximity Indicator to line up with the car beside. Look at the split timer in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. When you cross the 2nd sector timing line ensure you are in the correct grid position. If you are not, you can drive through the other cars to get into the correct position.

    Pitlane
You can cross the pit exit line as long as it is safe to do so and you do not cause a collision. When exiting pitlane, make note of the proximity of other cars via the map and split times. If there is traffic you need to stick to your side of the track. Moving across the racing line may result in incidents.

    Post Race Contact
Driving into another car after the race has finished is to be avoided at all costs. The wheels are powerful enough to cause serious injury someone that is unaware that contact is about to occur.

Extra care needs to be taken on lap 1, especially in wet slippery conditions. Lap 1 turn 1 & 2 is a hotspot for carnage with heavy braking zones. Take extra care to brake early & stay in you lane through these turns.

    Contact & Redressing
There has been an increase in the number of incidents caused by nose to tail contact. Drivers need to take care and back off slightly sooner especially prior to large braking zones. If you are not close enough to get an overlap during the early part of the braking zone then you will need to back off earlier.
In most case, incidents are being redressed. This is a reminder to redress the incidents stated above.

    Race Start & Formation Lap
Race start will be a long formation lap and double file manual race start. Make sure you stay side by side with your grid partner. If there is traffic you need to stick to your side of the track. Moving across the racing line may result in incidents.

Pit exit is on the racing line for the entry into turn 1. Care needs be taken by cars exiting Pit lane and by cars already on track. In qualifying delay exiting pit lane until there is a gap in traffic. Do not holdup a car on a flying lap. During the race if you exit pitlane and stick to the right hand side of the track, it will be the responsibility of cars already on track to avoid you.

    Blue Flags

    Lap 1
Turns 2 - 4 are a pinch point and on lap will be a hotspot for incidents, especially Turn 3. Drivers will need to pay particuar attention to this section on lap 1. Work really hard on pulling the car up early for turn 1 and even though a gap may present itself, going 3 wide into turn 2 & 3 will end in an incident. Cars on the inside of turn 2, will need to allow plenty of room for cars on the outside, the position will swap into turn 3 and if room isn't given an incident will occur.

Another hotspot is the sausage kerb at cheetah. care needs to be taken when following another car. prepare to brake earlier and back off especially if the car ahead goes into the pits. The final may not be an overtaking opportunity.

    Inter Continental GT Championship
There are some differences within the game when we race at ICGT tracks including Suzuka, Laguna Seca, Suzuka and Kyalami. Do your own research to work what that is.

    Lap 1

Big braking points at Hell Corner and Griffins Bend will be hotspots for incidents on lap 1. This is an endurance race and patience needs to used on Lap 1 to get through cleanly. The run up to the cutting is another hotspot as the racing line narrows into this section.

Drivers will need to pay particular attention to this section on lap 1. Work really hard on pulling the car up early for turn 1 & 2 and even though a gap may present itself, it will close just as quickly. Care needs to be taken when following another car. Prepare to brake earlier and back off early.
